The story so far for the Z warriors has followed canon, goku returns from his yardrat training arc and meets with his friends and family not after Trunks from the future arrives to deal with Frieza and his farther like in Canon.
Androids 17 and 18 were awakened.
Dr. Gero died permanently this time, killed by his own creations.
Vegeta who ascended off world through grit and pressure, was humbled by the blonde haired android 18.
Android 17 took 16 and 18 took search for goku whilst enjoying themselves and their new found freedom.
Imperfect Cell was out on the loose and and killing civilians through absorption thus attracting piccolo, who quickly has a short battle with a little aura farming from piccolo as usual.
Cell manages to escape as a result, an goes into hiding waiting for the chance to absorb 17 and 18....
Then the chance presented itself during the battle between the new and improved piccolo vs android 17.
Semi Cell was born.
I watched not wanting to alter the birth of perfect cell.
Because Perfect Cell required perfection.
Without it, the future was weaker.
But Trunks…
Trunks was the anomaly I needed to watch .
