🌌 SEASON 4 — EPISODE 8
"THE FOOTSTEPS SHE LEFT BEHIND"
Opening
Snow falls outside.
Aeryx sits alone holding Mira's pendant.
The same pendant she left behind.
Three years ago.
Not thirty.
Not twenty.
Three.
ðŸ˜
For the first time...
Mira feels close.
Scene 1 — The Trail
Morning.
Elara spreads old maps across a table.
She explains:
"When Mira left, she wasn't alone."
Aeryx looks up.
The Record Keeper woman who saved Mira traveled with her.
For years.
Moving between villages.
Never staying long.
Always hiding.
Always watching.
As if someone was hunting them.
Scene 2 — The Journal
Elara reveals something she never showed anyone.
A small notebook.
Mira's.
Not a diary.
Just notes.
Places.
Names.
Questions.
Aeryx carefully opens it.
Most pages are faded.
But one line remains clear:
"If Aeryx survived... I'll find him."
Silence.
Nobody speaks.
Scene 3 — Raven
Outside.
Raven notices Aeryx staring at the notebook.
For a long time.
She sits beside him.
No jokes.
No teasing.
"You're smiling."
Aeryx looks down.
He is.
"I think..."
"This is the first time I've searched for someone who might actually be waiting for me."
Scene 4 — The Symbol
Inside the notebook is a strange mark.
Not a power symbol.
Not a clan symbol.
Just a drawing.
A tower.
On a mountain.
With a sun above it.
Elara immediately recognizes it.
Her face changes.
"No..."
"She actually went there?"
Scene 5 — The Forgotten Observatory
Elara explains.
Long ago...
The Record Keepers had one final refuge.
A place where they stored surviving records.
Not a kingdom.
Not a fortress.
A mountain observatory.
Called:
Sunwatch Peak
If Mira was searching for answers...
that is exactly where she would go.
Final Scene
Sunset.
Aeryx stands at the edge of the village.
Looking toward distant mountains.
The pendant in one hand.
The notebook in the other.
For years...
he searched for the past.
Now...
he finally has a direction.
Raven appears beside him.
"So."
"We're climbing a mountain?"
Aeryx smiles.
A real smile.
"Yeah."
"We're climbing a mountain."
Far away...
on a snowy peak...
a hooded figure closes a book.
And quietly looks toward the horizon.
We never see the face.
Only a familiar sun-shaped pendant hanging around the neck.
