No distortions.
No fractures in the sky.
Just wind.
For the first time in years⊠the sky is blue.
Raven stands on a cliff overlooking the city.
Bandaged.
Scar across his chest from the final battle.
He doesn't look proud.
He looks⊠empty.
Because Aeryx disappeared in the white collision.
No body.
No confirmation.
Just light.
Raven whispers:
"You idiotâŠ
you were supposed to survive."
SCENE 2 â THE WORLD ADJUSTS
Montage.
Children playing without fear.
Markets rebuilding.
Former shadow soldiers removing their armor.
The world feels lighter.
But something is missing.
Balance exists.
But the one who carried it⊠is gone.
SCENE 3 â THE REVEAL
Night.
Raven alone at the cliff again.
Wind stronger tonight.
The air shifts.
Not violently.
Gently.
Behind himâ
Footsteps.
Raven freezes.
He doesn't turn immediately.
Because hope is more dangerous than fear.
Voice behind him:
"You still stand too stiff."
Raven's breath stops.
He turns.
Aeryx.
Alive.
Different.
Not glowing.
Not divine.
Just calm.
But his eyesâŠ
They hold depth now.
Not power.
Understanding.
Raven laughs once.
Then punches him.
Hard.
Aeryx barely reacts.
"You disappeared."
Aeryx smiles slightly.
"I had to let it reset."
SCENE 4 â WHAT HAPPENED?
They sit at the cliff edge.
Like old days.
Raven asks:
"Did you kill him?"
Aeryx looks at the horizon.
"No."
Pause.
"I removed the need for him."
Silence.
Raven processes that.
"You changed the system?"
Aeryx nods.
"Opposition isn't required anymore."
"The world can evolve without hierarchy."
Raven exhales.
For the first time in his lifeâ
He doesn't feel like he has to become a monster to protect it.
SCENE 5 â THE HAPPINESS
Morning.
The city celebrates rebuilding.
No throne ceremony.
No hero worship.
Just life continuing.
Raven watching Aeryx walk through the streets unnoticed.
Helping lift debris.
Talking to children.
Smiling slightly.
Normal.
Raven smiles too.
Softly.
Because the boy he once tried to protectâŠ
Surpassed him.
Without becoming what he feared.
SCENE 6 â THE TRUE REVEAL
Far above.
Beyond the atmosphere.
Beyond known space.
A fragment of dark energy drifts.
Not hostile.
Observing.
And deeper than thatâ
Something ancient stirs.
Not the Shadow Lord.
Something that watched him.
A voice echoes in cosmic silence:
"The cycle has shifted."
One massive eye opens in the void.
Not evil.
Not good.
Curious.
Cut back to Aeryx laughing quietly at something Raven says.
The world below is peaceful.
But the universeâŠ
Is aware now.
FINAL SHOT
Raven looks at Aeryx.
"You think it's over?"
Aeryx looks at the sky.
"No."
Small smile.
"It's finally beginning."
Fade to black.
