Chapter 10 - Chapter 11: Utaha's First Falna Update

Supernatural Research Club.

After Lynn and the others left, only Rias and Akeno remained.

"Akeno, what do you think?"

Rias had been thinking about Utaha's ability.

A Sacred Gear Wielder?

But there were no fluctuations of a Sacred Gear.

As an Upper-Level Demon, she was quite confident in her own judgment.

But can a human really awaken such an overpowered ability?

As for it being an ability awakened after becoming a Transmigration Demon, they hadn't even considered that possibility.

Because there was no such precedent in the Underworld.

The transmigration ritual only turns the Peerage members into demons, at most granting them some abilities based on their Demon Chess Piece Rank.

Ultimately.

The demon chess pieces were merely tools created to increase the population as the number of demons dwindled.

Akeno shook her head. "If the President can't figure it out, there's no way I can."

Rias sighed and said wistfully, "If only Kasumigaoka were my servant."

"With that kind of ability, I could definitely have her grow strong enough to defeat that Firebird's Peerage before *that* event!"

With the Gremory Family's resources, she had that confidence.

Knock knock!

Just as Rias was envying Lynn, there was a knock on the door of the Supernatural Research Club.

"Sona? What brings you here?"

Rias was surprised.

Sona looked around and asked, "Was he here?"

"Your information is as well-informed as always."

Rias gave a helpless smile.

Sona said matter-of-factly, "I am the Student Council President, after all."

"Then you also know when he left, right?"

"Yes."

Otherwise, she wouldn't have dared to come.

Thinking of something, the tips of her ears turned slightly red.

Sitting across from Rias as usual, Sona asked, "What did he come for?"

Rias briefly explained Lynn's purpose, and Sona became pensive.

"I have some Water Magic spells. Next time he comes, help me give them to him."

Rias was silent for a moment, then asked tentatively, "Sona, don't you think you're being a bit too concerned about him?"

"He is my fiancé."

"But aren't you going to break off the engagement?"

"..."

Sona went silent for a moment, then changed the subject. "That key, did you give it to him?"

Rias's expression stiffened.

Staaaare—

"Sorry, sorry!"

Rias pressed her hands together. "So much happened this time, I completely forgot!"

Sona sighed. "Then give it to him next time along with the Water Magic."

Rias nodded awkwardly, no longer in a position to bring up Sona's concern for Lynn... Tokyo.

Lynn's house.

Lynn looked at Utaha's suitcase and suddenly said, "So, are we officially starting our life living together?"

"Having a beautiful girl like me living with you is a blessing you must have earned over eight lifetimes."

On the way back, the two of them stopped by Utaha's place.

They brought along some toiletries, clothes, a tablet, and other electronics.

By the way.

There really was a Curse Spirit in that room.

Utaha eliminated it with a wave of her hand.

After recording the Thunderbolt Magic, she was feeling quite overconfident; she no longer cared about looking for Evil Spirits.

Even so, she had no intention of staying in the rental apartment to live alone.

After tidying up the luggage, Utaha said expectantly, "Next is *that*, right?"

"That's right. Take them off."

Lynn had a serious look on his face.

Utaha hesitated, then gritted her teeth and stomped her foot, taking off her outer clothes directly.

"Underwear... shouldn't be necessary, right?"

Utaha's cheeks were flushed as she bit her lip.

"I can barely see it clearly."

Utaha breathed a sigh of relief.

As long as he could see it.

This was already her limit. If it went any further... Even so, Utaha felt a bit uneasy.

"Honestly, why did you have to engrave such an important thing on the front!"

"In that situation, it was just convenient."

Lynn recalled, "Besides, didn't you also want me to put it on—"

"Don't say it!"

Utaha quickly covered Lynn's mouth with both hands, glaring at him slightly, her face so red it looked like it could bleed.

"It's all your fault for being so ambiguous back then!"

"Mmph—"

Lynn raised both hands in a gesture of surrender.

Utaha gave a triumphant huff before letting go.

Using Magic to force out a drop of blood and dripping it onto Utaha, the hidden Falna data immediately appeared.

Utaha

Inferior Demon

"Magic increased by over a hundred, the speed is decent."

After offering a word of encouragement, Lynn transcribed the status and handed it to Utaha.

"Aside from Magic, the others have barely grown at all."

Utaha felt a bit discouraged.

Lynn said faintly, "Tell me, aside from that time you hit an Evil Spirit with a book, have you done any other physical activity?"

"Uh..."

Utaha was momentarily speechless.

It seemed there really wasn't any.

Lynn shrugged; the truth was out.

"Aside from magic power, it's already quite good if the other ability scores can increase a bit."

Utaha fell into thought, "Doesn't that mean I'm going to become a fragile mage?"

No way!

I must train my body!

At the very least, I must increase my Agility score!

If I encounter someone I can't defeat, I can still run.

"Alright! While it's dark, let's go find Curse Spirits to gain experience!"

Utaha was full of fighting spirit, pulling Lynn and walking outside.

Lynn did not dampen her enthusiasm.

Although very slight.

But with Shiwa's updated blessing, Lynn did indeed feel a tiny increase in his magic power.

However, for him, an Upper-Level Demon, it was merely a drop in the bucket.

But every little bit counts.

What's more, when he has more dependents in the future, if each person improves a bit, it will be a huge amount for him.

Late at night.

A certain indescribable alley.

"Lightning!"

"You have to train the other ability scores too~"

"D-Darn it!"

"Demon Book!"

Utaha held the Demon Book with both hands and slapped it towards the evil spirit.
