Chapter 44 - Chapter 44: Dal Makhani

[You have acquired the Sudarshan Chakra (Improved Version)]

[Now you can form a Soul Pact without alerting anyone, Karna.]

"Okay then please select 'Yes'."

As Karna selected 'Yes' on the notification, a brilliant light enveloped him and the Sudarshan Chakra. A mystical connection formed between Karna and the divine weapon, solidifying their bond. The upgrade was successful, and Karna could feel the power coursing through him.

[Congratulations, Karna. You have successfully formed a Soul Pact with Sudarshan Chakra (Improved Version). You can now wield its full power as your own.]

[!!!]

[Alert: Host is advised to not use its full power until your body can take the backlash. Overusing the Sudarshan Chakra's power could have severe consequences without a strong body.]

"Alright I will be careful but let's see its power just a little bit."

Karna positioned his hand summoning the Sudarshan Chakra on his Index finger, "Oh! Artemis, Can you open the portal to the first floor?"

[Right Away]

As the portal to the first floor opened, Karna wasted no time in testing the newfound power of Sudarshan Chakra.

He flicked his finger, sending the divine weapon soaring through the portal. Instantly, a brilliant display of light and energy erupted on the other side, causing a shockwave that shook the tower.

All the monsters on the floor were instantly obliterated, reduced to nothing more than dust. The sheer destructive force of the Sudarshan Chakra left no chance for the monsters to even defend themselves.

Karna watched in awe as the power of the Sudarshan Chakra was unleashed. It was a testament to the weapon's legendary status and the might it possessed.

However, he also felt a surge of caution within him, remembering Artemis's warning about not overusing the weapon's power.

Satisfied with the demonstration, Karna retracted the Sudarshan Chakra back to his hand and closed the portal to the first floor. He took a moment to catch his breath, his heart still racing from the exhilaration of wielding such incredible power.

"Now that I have this weapon, I must learn to wield it responsibly," Karna muttered to himself, contemplating the weight of the Sudarshan Chakra's power. He knew that with great power comes great responsibility.

"Let's go back. Because I came here first thing in the morning— If I were to upgrade Rhitta then—"

[I was waiting for you to realize that on your own, Karna. You have to use the Upgrade Tickets which you have collected all this time now.]

Karna nodded, acknowledging Artemis's reminder about the Upgrade Tickets he had collected. He had been gathering them for a while.

"Very well, Artemis. Let's proceed with upgrading Rhitta with Platinum Upgrade Ticket," Karna replied.

[You have used Platinum Upgrading Ticket on the Divine Axe-Rhitta]

[Upgrading...]

[...]

[You have acquired Rhitta (Upgraded Version)]

[The Divine Axe-Rhitta has been upgraded to its maximum potential.]

As Karna held the newly upgraded Divine Axe-Rhitta in his hands, he could feel the surge of power coursing through it. The weapon now emanated an even more intense heat, surrounded by an aura of scorching flames.

Its size and weight remained as imposing as ever, but Karna knew that its potential for destruction had now reached its peak.

"Truly magnificent," Karna whispered, marvelling at the Divine Axe-Rhitta's enhanced form.

"With this weapon, I shall become an unstoppable force, capable of protecting those I care about and vanquishing any threat that stands in my way."

As Karna prepared to leave the Tower of Trials, he couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunities he had been given to grow stronger and obtain such extraordinary weapons.

However, he also understood that the real measure of a hero lay not just in their power but in the compassion and humility with which they wielded it.

[Exiting the Tower...]

Karna appeared back in his chamber with the Tower of Trial on the ground, Which was collected and stored inside the inventory.

Just then—"KARNAA!!!, Come food is ready."

Radha Maa's (Mother) voice sounds from behind the door.

Karna smiled at the sound of his mother's voice. He dismissed his both soul weapons which flashed away and formed the tattoo of an Axe and Disk's tattoo was formed on his backhand right hand, Which he willed to disappear too.

Karna quickly composed himself and replied, "Coming, Mother!"

As he stepped out of his chamber, he left behind the powerful weapons and the trials he had faced within the Tower. Now, he returned to his role as a son and a protector, ready to cherish the simple joys of life.

As Karna sat down to share a meal with his family, he couldn't help but feel a deep sense of contentment. The power he possessed was awe-inspiring, but it was moments like these, surrounded by loved ones, that truly brought him happiness.

He engaged in lively conversation with his mother and enjoyed the delicious meal prepared for him. He was planning to use his Master Chef skill to make a meal tonight that would showcase his culinary prowess and bring a smile to his mother's face.

After breakfast, Karna went to the kitchen to see if all the ingredients were in place for him to prepare the special meal he had in mind. He carefully inspected the pantry and found all the necessary ingredients neatly organized. With a satisfied nod.

Then he went outside to roam around Vrindavan till time for lunch.

As the day progressed, Karna decided to find a peaceful spot by the Yamuna River, known for its scenic beauty and serene atmosphere. He sat on the riverbank, watching the gentle flow of the water.

When the time for lunch came close he ran toward home, his heart feeling light and content. He wanted to show his mother his culinary skills and create a memorable meal for her.

Upon reaching home, Karna immediately set to work in the kitchen. He carefully prepared the ingredients and put his Master Chef skill to use, creating a feast fit for a king.

The aroma of the food filled the house, and Karna knew he was on the right track.

As the tantalizing aroma wafted through the house, drawing everyone's attention, Karna's family members followed their noses to the kitchen. They entered one by one, their faces lighting up with excitement and anticipation.

Radha Maa, Karna's mother, was the first to arrive. Her eyes widened in delight as she caught a glimpse of the spread that Karna had prepared. She couldn't help but smile at her son's dedication and skill.

"Karna, this looks absolutely wonderful!" Radha Maa exclaimed, her voice filled with joy. "But what is this dish?"

Karna smiled warmly at his mother's reaction. He was glad to see her happy and excited about the meal he had prepared. He approached her, holding a plate with a beautifully presented dish.

"Mother, this is a special dish I learned during my travels," Karna explained, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "It's called 'Dal Makhani' (Buttery Dal). It's a rich and creamy lentil dish cooked with butter and aromatic spices. I thought you would enjoy it."

Radha Maa's eyes sparkled with anticipation as she accepted the plate from Karna. She took a small bite, savouring the flavours that burst in her mouth.

"Oh, Karna! This is divine!" Radha Maa exclaimed, her face glowing with delight. "I can taste the love and effort you put into this dish. It's absolutely delicious."

Karna beamed with pride and happiness as he watched his mother enjoy the meal. Seeing her joy was more rewarding to him than any battle won or power gained. It was a reminder of the true purpose of his strength—to bring happiness and comfort to those he loved.

The rest of the family joined in, savouring each bite of the delectable meal. They laughed, shared stories, and enjoyed the time together, appreciating the simple yet profound moments of togetherness.

Little Krishna was especially delighted with the meal. His eyes widened as he tasted the creamy dal makhani.

"Wow, Bhrata (Brother), This is amazing!" Krishna exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement. "You're the best cook ever!"

Karna chuckled and tousled Krishna's hair affectionately. "Thank you, little Krishna. I'm glad you like it. I'll make sure to cook more delicious meals for you in the future."

As the meal came to an end, Karna's heart was filled with a deep sense of gratitude and contentment.

He had not only gained incredible power through his trials and the acquisition of the Sudarshan Chakra and the upgraded Divine Axe-Rhitta but had also experienced the joy of sharing his love and talents with his family.

And as the night gently embraced the world, Karna retired to his chamber. In the embrace of his loved ones and the comfort of his home, Karna found solace and strength, ready to face whatever the future held.
