Seeing the shortage of time, Vyuk began explaining to me directly the main information of V-Law. He told that V-Law is actually a form of Authority, whose main work is believed to be maintaining energy balance.
He further said, "Jona, just know this much — this Authority resists everything that can disturb the power balance of this world."
Hearing his words, even more curiosity arose in my mind. I asked him in a low voice, "Does such a thing really exist? But why was this thing created at all? And how does it work to maintain the balance of power in the world?"
Vyuk looked at me and said like an experienced teacher, "Hmm Jona, your question is valid — how such a thing came into existence and why it exists. To tell the truth, according to the knowledge I have received, all this began during the Third Epoch (Third Epoch — The Epoch of Divine Schism)."
Explaining further, he said, "In that era, when the Gods clashed with each other and a terrible war broke out among them, because of that great war the entire world had split into two parts."
Vyuk explained even deeper that during that great war a huge rift formed among the Gods. Because of that, different Gods decided according to their ideologies whom they would support.
He told that at that time two main factions of Gods were formed. One group of Gods believed in peace and Divine Authority. Because of that, this group of Gods became known as The Aeon Hegemony.
And on the other side were those Gods who were completely drowned in greed for power and hunger for dominance. Because of that, that destructive group of Gods became known as The Primordial Synod.
And in the end, the clash between these two great powers brought the world to the brink of destruction.
After that, continuing his words very thoughtfully, Vyuk said that according to legends, when the God of Peace and Mercy saw all this happening, he sank into deep concern. In his eyes, no matter which ideology any group had, ultimately all of them were going against the Divine Laws.
The consequence of that destructive war between the Gods was also being suffered by those innocent and weak beings who lived on earth with the Gods and for the Gods, and who were extremely insignificant compared to those Gods. Because of that, seeing the suffering of his own and the innocent, the anger of the God of Peace and Mercy crossed its limit. He made a harsh decision to give the war a fair turn and to protect the innocent.
He further told that then he drew his Divine Sword. During the time of The Pangeon, when all the land used to be one gigantic supercontinent, he struck it with his sword with such a terrifying blow that that massive landmass split into three pieces in an instant.
And that one strike changed the geography of the world completely.
Continuing his explanation, Vyuk said that the three pieces of land formed after that strike became the three main regions of today's world.
First, the East Continent, on which the Guptes Empire is located and of which we are currently a part. Second, the West Continent, and exactly in the center of both was formed the Holy Land.
After the land split into three pieces, the East Continent was given to the Gods' group of the Aeon Hegemony, while the West Continent went to the faction of the Primordial Synod. As for the Holy Land, the God of Peace and Mercy kept it with himself so that he could always sit at the center and lead the consequences of this war.
After all these events, at the command of the God of Peace and Mercy, both groups of Gods came face to face in the Holy Land for one final meeting.
And at the end of that meeting, a proposal for a Calamity Level Ritual was decided. Vyuk says he does not have very deep knowledge about that ritual, but at that time strange creatures, limitless divine powers, and many kinds of divine weapons began bursting out from beneath the earth.
Vyuk further said that he mainly knows about two things among them. The first was The Knowledge Authority. According to legends, when this authority emerged from the depths of creation, it is believed that despite being a form of energy it possessed its own consciousness. After that it decided to choose its owner itself, and for that it chose the Goddess of Light, and considering her worthiness, in the end that Authority was granted to her, after which she came to be known as the Goddess of Knowledge and Light.
Hearing this information from Vyuk, I was both surprised and thrilled. A question arose in my mind — could it really be that the Goddess of Knowledge and Light became the owner of two great authorities in this way? And could this be the reason that later she became the most powerful goddess? I was still thinking deeply about all this.
But Vyuk had not stopped yet. He continued, "The second thing I know about is V-Law itself. According to legends, it was created in the form of pure energy. According to tales, in the beginning its form was like a giant black globe, around which strange dark energy constantly revolved. But shortly after its creation, its balance began to deteriorate in a very strange manner, and eventually all its energy spread across the entire earth like a corrupted veil and came into existence as a form of Authority. It is believed that later the biggest reason behind the Gods forsaking this earth was this very V-Law. But why — did V-Law start corrupting the Gods, or was it trying to create a forceful stability in the world?"
Finishing his words, Vyuk said, "Jona, this is all I know about these things. But this entire era and these events are known in the world as Divine Creation or Creation of Divine."
Saying this, Vyuk fell silent. The air outside the warehouse had grown colder, and dense clouds had gathered in the sky. These heavy historical revelations made the atmosphere even more mysterious. I realized that the truths and powers we were struggling against had roots connected to the creation of the world and that great war of the Gods.
Vyuk looked once more carefully at the blood stain on his hand. Now that seriousness had returned to his face which appears at the beginning of a mission. He looked at me and said in a low voice, "We cannot waste any more time. Now I am going to begin the Divination."
Saying this, Vyuk put his hand into the pocket of his worn tuxedo and took out a paper from inside. That paper was completely blank and appeared to be of a slightly yellow color of a different kind.
Seeing that blank paper, I became a little excited and surprised. I asked Vyuk curiously, "Vyuk, what will you do with this paper?"
Hearing me, Vyuk looked at me and replied, "Look at it carefully, this paper is quite different from ordinary paper." Holding that yellow paper steady in front of me, he further said, "With the help of this paper I will perform Paper Divination."
Now Vyuk was about to begin the process of Paper Divination. First he went near the pile of wooden boxes kept beside him and carefully spread that yellow paper on top of a flat box so that he could do his work without any obstruction.
After that he took out a feather pen from his belongings. Even though it was just a normal pen, a different kind of smell and specialty could be felt from its ink.
He told me that now he would create a pattern on it, because of which I had guessed that Vyuk would perhaps draw a Magical Array Circle on the page, but my guess turned out wrong. Instead of making any circle, he drew a Seven-Pointed Star representing the seven centers of the Ether Body.
After that, he rubbed the same worker's blood present on his hand onto the center of that seven-pointed star. While giving this example he explained why he did this. Actually, this blood belongs to that worker; so if he tried to track the owner of the blood through some other ritual method, in the end he would trace only that worker. But he further explained that if instead of tracking the blood he tried to track the energy form present inside it, then there is a very high possibility that he could find the location of that woman's Ether Body.
After explaining everything, he recited a spell:
"In the river of life, the truth flows. By the debt of blood, let the unseen be known."
He also explained what result would come out of it. This technique does not give answers directly in "yes" or "no," but instead creates Blood Glyphs:
If during divination the blood begins to boil and slowly starts lifting from the paper: it means the target is dead or its Ether spirit body has been completely destroyed.
If the blood spreads: it means the thing we are asking about is very dangerous (High Danger Level).
If the blood begins to flow in one direction: then it is capable of indicating the target's current location.
But how can paper show location? Actually, to determine location the paper has to be unique form into such a form after which it becomes capable of searching the subject's Ether Body. Vyuk, who deeply knows and understands the method of paper divination, folded that paper from several different parts and finally made a paper plane from it. Because of that, this paper plane had now become fully capable of tracking the subject's Ether Body. After that, Vyuk jumped in an unnatural manner onto the pile of wooden boxes and from there released that plane with his hands — hoping that the plane would lead us to our target.
