The air sparked with unresolved tension as the two clashed. The servants were already tense and waiting to see what would happen.
Just when it seemed like the air would calm down, Lady Canarie spoke up.
"D-Don't fight because of me. I…if it is better for me to participate in the interrogation, then I will do that. So please, don't fight."
Danielle gave her cousin an annoyed look, but ultimately calmed herself down.
'There is a limit to misunderstanding, and this is crossing it. Then again, Canarie was always the oblivious kind.'
Princess Danielle placed a hand on Canarie's shoulder and put some pressure on it to ground the other female.
"Don't worry, Canarie. This is not happening because of you. Now, you should head back to your room and get ready for lunch. Don't you want to impress the others?"
She asked with a small smile on her face, and Canarie nodded before she left the room.
