Uriel scratched his head, the slightest bit embarrassed.

Evidently, he'd wanted to test out the offensive capabilities of his darkness element, but it perhaps wasn't the most suited for a test.

To do so, he'd absolutely have to partially comprehend one branch of the element. His dark and light elements would be the most elusive and complex to master.

In their current form, though they weren't useless, they were more suited for utility than battle.

The orb of darkness shook and, in a blink, it had turned to a twisted mass of vines, tightly packed into an orb that spun on its own axis, a thick floral scent wafting out in waves.

His mind flickered and…

PSHI!

From the ball, hundreds of vines sprang, tearing through the air like launched bullets and moving to impact against the wall and ground, turning the cave into a webbed expanse of vines.

One eerily reminiscent of the corpse's.
