Chapter 4 - 4. INVISIBLE INVESTMENT

That morning, an expanse of thick, dark clouds besieged the sky of Jianghai City—towering high like cauliflowers—until even the sunlight could not pierce through them. A cold wind roared loudly, making the air feel increasingly damp and heavy.

Lin Xuan stood in front of the mirror, straightening the collar of his black shirt. He did not choose a flashy designer suit, yet somehow, that simple piece of cloth seemed to possess a different kind of authority when draped over his body. There was a calmness radiating from his posture, the kind of calmness possessed only by those who have weathered so many storms that they are no longer daunted by their thunder.

"Xuan, are you sure you don't want to accompany Father to the office?" Lin Haifeng asked while tidying his briefcase in the living room. "Zhang Wei sent several new files. I feel safer if you are there."

Lin Xuan turned, giving a thin, soothing smile. "Father, do not let your fear be your bodyguard. If you feel you need me to feel safe, it means you are giving your power to Zhang Wei. Go with the thought that you are the rightful owner of that company. That is your best protection."

Lin Haifeng was stunned, digesting those words for a moment before nodding slowly. "You're right. Lately, your words make me feel like I'm listening to a grandmaster."

After his father left, Lin Xuan immediately stepped toward the Grand Ballroom of the Celestial Hotel. Today was the annual antique auction organized by the Han family. However, Lin Xuan did not come to collect art. He came because he knew, in his past life, today was the day when Great Master Gu—the ruler of the shipping industry—suffered a heart attack that changed the map of the city's economic power.

The auction was filled with the scent of expensive perfume and the clinking of champagne glasses. In the middle of the crowd, Lin Xuan saw Han Seo-Ah. The woman looked very elegant in a modern dark blue cheongsam that accentuated her porcelain skin. Beside her, Song Jin-Ho stood possessively, his hand occasionally touching Seo-Ah's waist—as if wanting to flaunt his ownership to the world.

Lin Xuan chose to sit in the back row, away from the center of attention. His eyes were fixed on the front row—where an old man with silver hair sat stiffly; that was Great Master Gu.

Through his energy vision, Lin Xuan could see the aura around Master Gu appeared murky, a thick gray swirling around his chest. It wasn't just a physical ailment; it was a Qi blockage caused by years of mental pressure and negative energy sent by his business enemies.

"The next item," the auctioneer's voice echoed, "is a bronze incense burner from the Ming Dynasty. Believed to bring peace to its owner."

As the incense burner was shown, everyone was amazed, but Lin Xuan only narrowed his eyes. The object was energetically fake, and instead contained a frequency of restlessness. However, Song Jin-Ho immediately raised his bidding paddle arrogantly.

"Two billion!" Jin-Ho shouted, glancing at Seo-Ah, expecting praise.

Lin Xuan chuckled softly, but his voice sounded quite clear in the silent back row.

Jin-Ho turned, his face flushing with offense. "What are you laughing at, Young Master Lin? Do you not have the money to join the bidding that you can only sit in the back and laugh?"

Lin Xuan stood up slowly, putting his hands in his pockets. "Money can indeed buy antiques, Mr. Song. But money cannot buy the wisdom to distinguish between gold and trash. You just spent two billion to buy a vessel of restlessness that will ruin your sleep."

"You...!" Jin-Ho wanted to retort, but suddenly a loud thud was heard from the front row.

Great Master Gu fell slumped from his chair. The room instantly turned into chaos. People screamed, bodyguards ran, and Master Gu's personal doctor immediately tried to perform first aid, but the tycoon's face had already turned blue. His breath gasped as if an invisible hand was strangling his neck.

"Move!" the doctor shouted. "His heart has stopped!"

In the midst of that chaos, Lin Xuan stepped forward calmly. The crowd of people somehow seemed to part to give him a way, as if there was an invisible authority forcing them to move aside.

"Let me through," Lin Xuan said softly, yet his tone had a resonance that made the doctor fall silent and freeze.

Lin Xuan knelt beside Master Gu. He did not perform harsh chest compressions. Lin Xuan only placed his right palm exactly over Master Gu's solar plexus, and his left hand on his back.

"Life is a flow," Lin Xuan murmured in his heart, closing his eyes. He visualized a golden light piercing through the darkness inside Master Gu's chest. He did not try to heal his heart, but he realigned the old man's body frequency with the frequency of nature.

In the extreme principles of LOA, disease is merely a manifestation of disharmony. Lin Xuan became the conductor, letting pure energy flow through him to dispel the blockage of Master Mo's black energy that had been secretly planted there.

A few seconds passed in a deathly silence. Suddenly, Master Gu took a long breath, a hoarse sound coming from his throat. His face color returned to normal in a flash. He opened his eyes and looked at Lin Xuan with confusion as well as immense relief.

"I... I can breathe again," Master Gu whispered.

Lin Xuan withdrew his hands and helped the old man sit up. His personal doctor checked Master Gu's pulse with trembling hands. "This... this is a miracle. His pulse is stable again, even stronger than before!"

Master Gu looked deep into Lin Xuan's eyes. As someone who had built a business empire from scratch, he knew that the young man in front of him was no ordinary person. "Who are you, boy? What did you do to me?"

Lin Xuan stood up, straightening his clothes which were not even slightly wrinkled. "Money is flowing energy, Master Gu. If your body is blocked by anger or fear, money will not be able to stay; it will only pass through. The same goes for health. To master the world's wealth, you must first master the flow within yourself."

Master Gu was stunned. That sentence hit him harder than the heart attack just now. "Your words... you remind me of someone I once met in the Kunlun mountains decades ago."

On the other side of the room, Han Seo-Ah stared at Lin Xuan with eyes that could not hide her admiration. Meanwhile, Song Jin-Ho stood frozen, feeling like a clown who had just lost his stage.

Master Gu rose with the help of his bodyguards, then patted Lin Xuan's shoulder. "Boy, you have given me more than just a life. You gave me a lesson. Tell me, what do you need? Capital? Connections? I will give it to you."

Lin Xuan shifted his gaze to the tycoon's eyes. "I don't need charity, Master Gu. I need a partner whose frequency is in line with mine. I want to build an empire that cannot be toppled by greed, and I want you to be its first witness."

Master Gu laughed, a laugh full of strength. "Very interesting! Come to my office tomorrow. We will talk about how to change this world."

That night, Lin Xuan stood on his balcony, staring at his phone. An incoming message from an unknown number:

"You are attracting the wrong attention, Young Master Lin. The Nine Heavens are now watching you. Stop before you get lost in a frequency you cannot control."

Lin Xuan stared at the message without expression. He then typed a short reply before blocking the number:

"Frequency cannot be controlled by those who still hide behind shadows. If the Nine Heavens want to see me, tell them to look up. Because I am pulling their heavens down to collapse."

He put down his phone, staring at the stars above Jianghai City. Lin Xuan realized that the first capital he got from Master Gu was just the beginning. The real conflict would involve forces far beyond human logic.

He closed his eyes, beginning his meditation. Inside his mind, he built a vision, an impenetrable energy fortress, where his family was safe and his enemies lost their footing.

Luck is just another name for preparation meeting the right frequency. Do not spend your time looking for opportunities outside, but be a person of such value that the opportunity itself begs to come to you.
