Yui Ming stepped out from the barrier, his gaze radiating a chilling horror. In his hand, he gripped the severed head of Wrath. His eyes locked onto Pride.
"Pride... you will regret this!"
Yui Ming replied coldly, "Show me what you have."
With terrifying speed that caught Yui Ming off guard, Pride vanished and reappeared behind him, delivering a punch that slammed him into the ground. Pride attempted to follow up with a barrage of strikes, but Yui Ming's reflexes kicked in; he blocked the onslaught, grabbed Pride's arms, and crushed his head with a brutal kick.
However, in a flash of incomprehensible speed, Pride unleashed a hidden technique. Multiple strikes landed simultaneously from out of nowhere. Yui Ming couldn't even process the movement before his right arm was severed and his body was covered in lethal gashes. Despite the carnage, Yui Ming stood firm. Driven by an unholy resolve and a pride of his own, he continued the fight, feeling no pain.
Pride spoke with a grim, terrifying tone: "I acknowledge your strength... but from this moment on, you will witness a level of horror you cannot imagine!"
"I don't need your acknowledgment to know my own power," Yui Ming retorted.
"Insignificant wretch!" Pride roared.
Pride lunged with powerful strikes, which Yui Ming blocked with his remaining hand. But suddenly, a magical strike materialized from the void, decapitating Yui Ming instantly.
In the next moment, Yui Ming appeared behind Pride, attempting to cut him down with his sword, but the blade bounced off.
"I am protected," Pride sneered. "You cannot bypass my defense."
Suddenly, with a speed Pride never expected, Yui Ming's sword pierced through Pride's hand.
"How... how is this possible?" Pride gasped.
"You have a defense that protects you," Yui Ming whispered, "but it has a limit. Every sixty seconds, the barrier resets. It takes exactly 0.1 seconds to regenerate. That small window of time is more than enough for me to pierce your flesh."
Before Yui Ming could finish his sentence, Pride seized control of Yui Ming's weapon-hand and forced the blade through Yui Ming's own heart. Even then, Yui Ming stood like a monster, refusing to fall.
"Pride Beam!" Pride shouted.
A massive beam of light erupted from Pride, but Yui Ming evaded it with a haunting grace.
"Pride Beam: Multi-Clone!"
Dozens of beams fired at once, riddling Yui Ming's body until he died.
Yui Ming tried to manifest his magical abilities upon revival, but he found them sealed.
"All your powers belong to me now," Pride declared. "You can use nothing but a fraction of your magic."
"With this fraction, I will kill you," Yui Ming replied. "I know that the more I insult or enrage you, the more your power grows. I am doing this on purpose... I want to force your full power to explode!"
With a swift motion, Yui Ming manipulated threads of blood that slashed across Pride's face. Suddenly, an invisible shadow emerged from behind Yui Ming, freezing his movements. Pride capitalized instantly, plunging her fist through Yui Ming's chest.
Countless clones of Pride appeared throughout the area, all surging toward Yui Ming at blinding speeds. He desperately parried their strikes until he unleashed a Red Flash, obliterating one of the clones. He began to run, drawing the clones into a specific perimeter. Once they were trapped, he released a storm of blood shards that shredded everything in that zone, killing every clone. But in that moment, Pride appeared behind him with a sword and sliced Yui Ming in half.
Yui Ming died fifty thousand times, dying and returning as he analyzed how to kill Pride and seize her essence.
With a sudden burst, Yui Ming released a Red Radiance from his palm, striking Pride with a force that shook the entire forest. He followed up with a lightning-fast sequence of punches that crushed her body and forced blood from her mouth. The two moved at speeds exceeding human comprehension, exchanging blows that cracked the very air.
"Forbidden Ability... Mirror Clones!"
Pride began teleporting through the mirrors placed everywhere, striking Yui Ming from every angle. But Yui Ming was evolving at an atmospheric rate; his power reached a terrifying level. Beams of light and scattered strikes filled the sky, killing Yui Ming once more.
Pride summoned even more clones, each possessing her original physical strength. Yui Ming defended himself through sheer miracle.
"Doom Flash!"
A black radiance enveloped Yui Ming's entire body. He became faster, stronger—his punches became unstoppable. He slammed Pride into the earth, but as he tried to block her counter-attacks, he felt a crushing weight on his back. A sword wielded by Pride pierced through him from behind.
"Mirror Barrier: Reflection!"
Yui Ming was pulled into a dimension filled with mirrors. Every time Pride struck, the blow touched a mirror and doubled in strength and speed. He was being hit from every direction by amplified attacks and clones. Yet, with a speed that surpassed Pride's understanding, Yui Ming delivered a punch that shattered her defense and slammed her to the ground.
"Invisibility!"
Pride vanished, striking Yui Ming repeatedly from the shadows. Yui Ming was pulverized by the invisible onslaught until he died once more.
Upon his return, Yui Ming moved with speed that bypassed the barrier's logic, landing a blow that canceled Pride's invisibility.
"How did you find me?" Pride screamed.
"Your invisibility is imperfect," Yui Ming said. "You failed to hide your presence from my magic."
Pride lashed out, her power doubling again, mangling Yui Ming's body, severing his left hand and the fingers of his right. He stood with absolute resolve, refusing to tremble from the pain, until he eventually collapsed and died from internal hemorrhaging.
Sonic booms echoed as Yui Ming's punches vibrated through the entire barrier.
"Doom Strike!"
The punch crushed Pride's face, leaving her severely wounded.
Yui Ming had died seventy thousand times to find the key to victory. And finally, after countless deaths, he found it.
Yui Ming sprinted to a specific point. Pride pursued him instantly, but the moment her feet touched that exact spot, her barrier, her magic, and her very body froze. Shards of blood erupted from the ground, shredding what remained of her until nothing was left. The barrier shattered. Yui Ming stepped out, but suddenly, Pride appeared once more, completely uninjured.
"I can achieve immortality," Pride boasted, "because whatever I say becomes reality."
"Relatively," Yui Ming countered. "Only simple things."
"But how did you stop my magic and my body earlier?"
"Reverse Technique," Yui Ming explained. "An ability acquired only by those who push their rage to infinity."
With a terrifying, final blow, Yui Ming crushed Pride, erasing her very existence from the world.
