"Have you returned? How was it?"
Naruto sat on the chair, asking Shikaku.
Shikaku dropped several scrolls on the table and said.
"It was completed. Lord Jiraiya has already left. Once he has prepared everything, we will get the signal to use Flying Thunder God Jutsu."
"By the way, have you learned that Jutsu?"
Naruto gave him a dead-eyed look and said.
"Do you think I've time for that? I barely have any time for normal training."
Shikaku chuckled and said.
"Well, this position comes with its own responsibility."
Naruto snorted before saying.
"By the way, how's the situation of our neighbour?"
Shikaku shrugged his shoulders.
"How am I supposed to know that? But I got some hints that they are willing to put Gaara in the position of Kazekage."
"Considering his bloodline, it makes a lot of sense. But if he becomes Kazekage, I feel like Onoki would be pressured to put his granddaughter in that position."
Hearing that, Naruto laughed.
"Hahaha! That would be funny. But I feel like Old Gramps wouldn't do that. He is quite stubborn, isn't he?"
Shikaku nodded.

Considering both of them weren't his natural affinity, there was a possibility that Kurotsuchi could do something similar.
But the possibility was very small.
Unfortunately, Naruto didn't know that possibility was exactly the reason why Kurotsuchi would soon start learning Wind Release.
Kurotsuchi was stubborn just like her grandfather. She didn't want to lose to others.
So, naturally, if she learned about Gaara's situation, she would do anything to learn Wind Release.
Dust Release was hard, almost impossible to master without proper chakra affinity.
But Onoki was also a master of Dust Release. If Kurotsuchi could master Wind Release, Onoki would try every method to help her learn it.
(A/N- I think the future Kurotsuchi didn't master it because most of her opponents could simply just absorb the Dust Release)
That being said, Naruto wasn't worried about her. He had another concern.
While Shikaku was present, he called the Anbu responsible for gathering intel on Cloud and Stone Villages.
After both of them read the information at the same time, Shikaku sneered.
"It seems like our Mr. Criminal is quite patient about his situation."
Naruto nodded.
"Yeah! He is afraid. Otherwise, with his personality, he would've communicated with those two villages by now."
Hearing that, Shikaku nodded and asked.
"What should we do about those ninjas?"
Naruto waved his hand and said.
"Let them do their job!"
"But wouldn't that make us look weak?"
"It doesn't matter. I plan to do something ridiculous soon. It will definitely force Danzo out and make him contact those countries."
"But this will give us some time, especially with the chances of war. Lord Second has already digested all the information he needs."
"Now, we just need to get the Chakra of Dragon Vein from Roran. Uncle Shikaku, you will be responsible for managing their place in the village."
"Yamato!"

"No need! Shikamaru is only thirteen. Let him enjoy a few more years. Although you can teach him, just don't force it now!"
"That's why I made Sister Shizune my assistant instead of Shikamaru."
Hearing that, Shikaku looked at him and said.
"You know, you don't have to take this burden by yourself."
Naruto shook his head.
"I chose to take this burden myself. Shikamaru doesn't have to choose this yet. Let him enjoy his time, Uncle."
"Besides, he will spend most of his time in training once that thing is completed. Shikamaru must get stronger."
Shikaku felt speechless.
"You are putting too much pressure on the Nara clan."
He shook his head and left with Yamato.
Naruto chuckled and continued doing his work with the files. Soon, Shizune entered the office and said.
"Lord Hokage, Team Guy has returned."
"I see!"
Naruto took a deep breath and looked at Shizune.
"I've sent my clone with them, so it will put me in a difficult situation. To process this information, I am going to lose consciousness."
"Handle the rewards of Team Guy and let them go back!"
He said before walking into another room. Then, he closed his eyes and slowly fell asleep.
At the same time, Team Guy entered the Hokage's office, where they only found Shizune.
