Chapter 10: As Ye Sow, So Shall Ye Reap
The grand plaza of Lumina was silent, save for the crackling of obsidian flames and the ragged breathing of a fallen Prince. Victor Valerian lay in the dirt, his regal armor shattered, his "Holy Sword" nothing but a hilt of rusted iron.
Above him stood Cyan, looking down with a coldness that made the surrounding air freeze.
"Please... Cyan..." Victor wheezed, blood leaking from his lips. "We are brothers... the same blood... spare me, and I will give you the throne! I will be your vassal!"
Cyan's laughter was a low, terrifying sound that echoed through the silent city. "Brothers? You stopped being my brother the moment you crushed my core and watched me fall into the Abyss. And as for the throne... why would I want a piece of gold you've already stained with your cowardice?"
Cyan reached out, his hand glowing with a concentrated, violet light.
[Skill Activated: Core Extraction / Mana Reversal.]
Victor's eyes bulged as he felt his very soul being pulled through his chest. Cyan wasn't just killing him; he was stripping away every ounce of "Light" Victor had stolen. The golden mana was sucked out, leaving Victor's body shriveled, weak, and utterly mortal.
"You loved the Light so much, Victor," Cyan whispered, his violet eye burning. "Let's see how you fare without it."
Cyan slammed his hand onto the ground. The earth beneath Victor split open, revealing a swirling vortex of purple and black—a direct portal to the Abyss of Silent Bones.
"No! Not there! Anything but there!" Victor screamed, clawing at the cobblestones as the gravity of the Abyss began to pull him in.
"Die in the darkness you thought was my grave," Cyan said. With a final kick, he sent Victor tumbling into the void. The portal snapped shut, leaving nothing behind but the echoes of a coward's final plea.

Cyan turned his attention to the balcony. Servina, the Saintess, was frozen in horror. Her "Maiden" Clara and the noble "Isabella" stood on either side of her, their dark auras pinning her in place.
"And you," Cyan said, walking toward her. "The woman who said 'Purity' was the only truth."
Servina fell to her knees as Cyan approached. "What are you going to do to me? Kill me? Corrupt me like the others?"
"Death is too easy for you, Servina," Cyan said, tilting her head up to look into his dual-colored eyes. "You will stay as the Saintess. You will continue to lead your Church. But you will do it as my puppet. Every prayer you lead, every blessing you give, will secretly be fueling my power."
He leaned in, his lips brushing her ear. "The world will still see you as a Saint. But every night, you will come to me to be reminded of who your true God is."
[Ding!]

Cyan stood at the edge of the balcony, looking out over the city. His three Goddesses—Elara, Isabella, and Clara—stood behind him, and the now-broken Servina knelt at his feet.
The citizens, seeing their "Hero" gone and their "Saintess" subdued, bowed their heads in a mixture of awe and terror.
"The First Arc of my vengeance is over," Cyan's voice boomed across the city. "But my hunger is not satisfied. There are other Empires. Other Gods. Other 'Goddesses' who believe they are untouchable."
He looked toward the distant horizon, where the borders of the Elven Forest and the Demon Realms lay.
"Tell the world," Cyan commanded, his violet eye flaring with an intensity that could be seen for miles. "The Sovereign of Sin has taken his throne. And the harvest has just begun."

And so the first arc ends with a resounding victory for Siyan! Victor faces his fate in the abyss, the capital has fallen, and the saint is now under his control. But the world is vast, and great powers are beginning to fear Siyan's rise.
