"Naruto, we need to talk." Hiruzen looks at me, but I don't have eye contact with him, looking down. I nod, making him sigh. Hirzuen rubs his eyes before snapping his fingers-
In a particular way. I blink, not knowing what the snap was.
"As I was saying, You have the Nine-tails sealed inside of you." My eyes narrow, before looking up at Hiruzen. Hiruzen takes this as his cue to continue whatever he is saying.
"Due to you having a Tailed Beast, you are Jinchuriki- wait, you don't know what a tailed beast is, right?" I still don't respond, making Hiruzen sigh once again. Hiruzen looks at me, and I can see sadness in them-
True sadness.
"Come on Naruto, work with me here-"
"Like you worked up a lie for my whole life? You want me to work with you like that?" I interrupt Hiruzen, finally speaking. Hiruzen looks surprised for a second, before looking sad. He stays silent for a couple of seconds, before nodding.
"I am sorry Naruto." I blink, a little off-guard by Hiruzen apologising. While I expected Hirzuen to apologise eventually if I act all butt-hurt and betrayed, I didn't expect him to Apologise this early into the conversation. I thought that he will try and defend his choices, not immediately Apologise and realise his wrongs.
"For what?" While i do acknowledge his apology, I need to know WHY he is apologising. Is this a ploy? Or is he truly genuine? I don't know what version of Hiruzen this is aftera all, whether it be Canon Hiruzen or Fanon Hiruzen, a Dumbledore like Character who thinks of the village and the village only, sacrificing anyone for the greater good.
"For not telling you the truth, for hiding the information that you deserved to know, the life you could have had if not for me, the life that was stolen from you. For all of that, I am truly sorry." My eyes widen in suprise, as this was a curve ball that I didn't expect at all. He is apologising for everything? Including things that weren't out of control.
Hiruzen looks at me for a second before steeling himself. His eyes harden, as the feeling of the room changes. While I cannot sense anything, I am still sensitive from Kurama blasting me with his Bloodlust, so I can feel when things are getting serious.
"I will tell you everything." My eyes widen in suprise, completely off-guarded from this declaration, and before i could get a hold of myself, Hiruzen begins speaking-
"A Tailed Beast is a being made of chakra, having a mind of its own. No one knows how they were created, but it is said that they are beings from the days of the Sage of Six Paths. The Sage of Six paths is the one who founded Ninjutsu. He is known as the Ancestor Of Shinobi's, and is said to be the strongest being ever walked in this planet." My eyes widen, not because I am acting, because I am guenenly suprised that Hiruzen is talking about what A Tailed Beast and a Jinchuriki is.
"These Tailed Beasts used to roam around the world for Centuries, before being Captured by Hashirama Senju, the first Hokage and distributed to the other villages in order to bring peace to the warring Era. One of these Tailed Beasts, the strongest one, is the nine tails, which was the only one kept by Konoha as the other tailed beasts were given to the Other villages." Hiruzen breaths in, as if he is about to talking a hard topic.
"The Tailed Beasts, especially The Nine Tails, were Sealed inside of people through the use of Sealing techniques, otherwise known as Fuinjutsu. The person that had the Nine Tails Sealed inside of Her was Mito Uzumaki, The wife of Hashirama Senju. She was of the Uzumaki Clan, and had the knowledge and Chakra needed to supress the Nine Tails." Hiruzen looks at me, and seeing my still surprised Expression, seems to misunderstand something.
"Yes, the same surname as Yours, Naruto. You are part of the Uzumaki Clan, known for their expertise in Sealing Techniques, and especially their Red hair. They had high Vitality, which was necessary for handling a chakra beast like the Nine Tails, so without them, no one else could hold the Nine Tails. So, as Mito Uzumaki reached her life's end, Konoha had to bring another Uzumaki to become The Nine-tails Jinchuriki, that being Kushina Uzumaki….your Mother." My eyes widen once again, this time completely shocked.
Did Hiruzen just reveal that the previous Jinchuriki is my mother?
What changed him this much that he started saying EVERY single truth? Wasn't Kushina's reveal supposed to be hidden? Why is he even saying it to me anyways-
Wait, if he said about Kushina's existance, does that also mean he will reveal-
"Your mother was the second Nine tails Jinchuriki, as She had a special Chakra that allowed her to use The Nine-Tails Chakra as her own if needed. She was the First Jinchuriki that used the tailed beast power WITHOUT transforming into the tailed beast herself, something that other villages tried to emulate, somewhat being successful." Hiruzen has a proud tone in his voice, praising Kushina for her ability to wield Kurama's Power, and it makes me surprised.
This was not something that was ever stated in the canon, so this is new information. If Kushina was the first Jinchuriki to Use Version 1 and Version 2 State, that would explain how the only Jinchurikis who could do it are Naruto, Kushina, and Killer B. The other Jinchurikis except Killer B could use the version 2 State, but not version 1 state.
Damn, that is impressive.
"When you were conceived, she had to be hidden in a different location secret to everyone but a few, but unfortunately....something happened that caused the Nine-tails to come out of the Seal, wreaking havoc in the village." Hiruzen sits straight, making me stand straighter as I realise where this is ending.
"As your parents decided to seal the Nine tails inside of you to protect the village from more harm, the Nine-tails attacked you in order to kill you and stop the sealing process, which made your parents jump in front of you and take the killing blow. Just before dying, your mother ... .showed all her love to you, as your father sealed the Nine-Tails into you, making you its third Jinchuriki." Hiruzen stops, looking at my expression. While I was surprised again and again by Hiruzen's honesty, I knew what he was saying, so I couldn't really have any emotions in my face-
"Huh? Oh." Noticing Hiruzen looking at me, I look at him and nod, not really knowing how to react. I can fake a reaction, but without having any emotions from my side, all it would feel is an empty reaction, making Hiruzen more suspicious. Hiruzen looks at me, and the sadness in his eyes is even more than before.
"....your Father, the one who sealed the Nine Tails into you, is a hero of our Village. He wanted you to be looked on as a hero, someone who saved the village, but the villagers only had fear and suffering in their hearts, so they couldn't see you with the light that your father, or I wanted." I look down, and think for a bit.
While i question the stupidity of harassing Naruto, when Naruto was a literal time ticking bomb, but having naruto's memory made one thing clear-
He was ignored, ostracised, but never harmed in any way.
Naruto suffered loneliness and hatred from the village, but that's all he had to suffer. He was never beaten, never starved, or anything like that. The reason he ate Ramen was because Ramen was the only food and place which did not ignore him like the others, and Naruto drank an expired milk because he was careless, not noticing the expiration date. Hiruzen didn't raise naruto, but Hiruzen never Promised Kushina he will Raise naruto in the first place, that was Anime Only.
Hiruzen kept Naruto safe from Danzo (Mostly), fed Naruto and gave him necessary money to survive in the village, and even then, the villagers never over-priced him for anything. No one ever sabotaged him at the academy, it is just that Naruto wanted recognition more than education, so he focused on Pranks, becoming the class clown.
"....your Father's Name is Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage." i snap out of my monologue, still getting surprised even though i had expected Hiruzen to tell me everything, Hiruzen looks at me for a response, for an emotion-
But nothing. I can't react shocked to information I already know.
The situation becomes a little awkward, so I ask a question that came to my mind when I was monologuing.
"What about the money my parents would have left me, what happened to that?" Hiruzen blinks in surprise at my question, not at all expecting that will be my question. He looks at me with Narrowed eyes, but he still answers.
"Well, all of the money was destroyed when your house was destroyed. The Nine Tails stomped on it when he was rampaging throughout the village." I widen my eyes, remembering how Obito sent Kurama on a rampage. So because of Obito, I am homeless, parentless, and broke as well?
"What about savings? They should have stored at least some amount in the bank right?" Hiruzen's eyes go from suspicion to confusion.
"What is a bank?" I just look at Hiruzen, and even as I try to form a thought, the door opens and in comes a little kid who is holding a toy shuriken in his hand.
"Old Man, it is time for you to give me your Seat as the Hokage-"
"Shut the fuck up!" I speak up in annoyance, making Konohamaru turn towards me. I am here thinking of how stupid this entire world is for not having a bank and savings, and this little shit comes randomly and starts talking random shit? I know I am supposed to give this kid a good hit in the head, but by god I wanna do more.
"Hey, who do you think you are talking to?" a man with dark hair, who wears glasses comes up towards Konohamaru, and i recognise him as Ebisu, the teacher of Konohamaru and his group.
"I am talking to that Old Man's Wrinkled Ballsack's off-spring's off-spring, why?" As I point at Hiruzen, Ebisu and Hiruzen's eyes widen to their head, shocked at what I just said. Konohamaru looks confused, but seeing his grandfather's reaction, he comes to a random conclusion which only he can come to.
"Did you just insult me?" Konohamaru points towards himself, which reminds me of that meme which has a kid pointing at himself in a surprised expression. I look at Konohamaru, and sigh.
"Yeah you idiot, damn. You didn't inherit any sperm cells from your grandpa's wrinkled smelly balls huh?" I shake my head in disappointment, as while Konohamaru doesn't understand anything, Ebisu and Hiruzen do, and both of them are horrified.
"Do you know who i am, i am the third Hokage's Grandson-" Konohamaru tries to talk some smack, but i interrupt him
"Yeah idiot, that is what I said before. I never said you were the old man's secret lover. Geez, Old man, I feel bad for you to have this idiotic kid as your grandson." I look at Hiruzen and give him a nod of sadness, before walking towards the door, where Ebisu is standing.
"Wait, where are you going?" I turn towards Konohamaru, who looks angry at me. I look at Hiruzen, and decide to tell the word that is coming into my brain.
"I am gonna go fuck your mom, wanna watch or something?" i turn around-
And dip. I run as if my life is in danger, which it might very well be, because I just insulted the daughter-in-law of Hiruzen.
I run far away from the Hokage Building, running away from it all.
