Just as I approached the crowd surrounding Sophie, the words left my mouth, prompting everyone to go silent as all attention turned towards me.
I didn't know why, but the reaction to my presence improved my mood by a bit.
Sophie too, hearing my voice, turned towards me as her eyes met mine.
"If you all are done with your intros, then I hope I can borrow my friend for some time."

The silence grew further, and before I could utter the next words, the crowd parted its way, making a wide passage for Sophie to walk towards me.
Looking at Sophie, I could see the noticeable shift in her shoulders, as she visibly relaxed after the students stopped crowding around her, though from her face, it felt like she wasn't happy knowing the fact that the interference was caused by my actions.
The girl was arrogant... there was no denying that.
