To increase power, a person must evolve their Mana Core.
Most people in the world are Awakened, meaning they are born with an Iron Core, the lowest and most basic core.
People who are not born with a core are called Unawakened.
They can still create a core, but the process is costly and not feasible for most common people.
Once a person starts to cultivate, they must form mana rings around their core.
These mana rings can also be called sub-tiers within a core rank.
Core Ranks:
Iron Core — 1 Tier (Iron 1)
Bronze Core — 2 Tiers (Bronze 1 → Bronze 2)
Silver Core — 3 Tiers (Silver 1 → Silver 3)
Gold Core — 4 Tiers (Gold 1 → Gold 4)
Platinum Core — 5 Tiers (Platinum 1 → Platinum 5)
Diamond Core — 6 Tiers (Diamond 1 → Diamond 6)
Immortal Core — 7 Tiers
Sovereign Core — 8 Tiers
Divine Core — 9 Tiers
Mythical Core — 10 Tiers
These are the known mana core ranks in the world.
Higher forms of power beyond the Mythical Core may exist, but they are still unknown.
To reach a new core rank, a cultivator must compress all the mana rings around their core and then evolve the core to the next rank.
Example:To evolve from Bronze to Silver, one must compress the two Bronze mana rings into the main Bronze Core and then evolve it into a Silver Core.
The same process is followed for every core rank.
Failure during core evolution can cripple the cultivator's core or, in the worst case, result in instant death.
To evolve a core beyond the Diamond rank, special conditions must be met. These conditions will be explained in the novel according to the storyline.
