Finally, after months of being supervised by the Authorities of this world, Nine had met the freedom he wanted.
Leaving the alley he was in before, Nine pulled out a paper from his pocket, looking at it, he smiled.
"Gehe, I've been using these runes so much that it's been counted in my window," he said, looking at his status window.
Staring at his Vitality stat nearing the three-digit number, Nine didn't hesitate to place all his remaining stat points on it, increasing it from 73 to 88 points.

Spending the entire Fall season hunting slimes, Nine has leveled up significantly, reaching the two-digit number already.
Though his stats, like strength and defense, were only 22 points, his other stats are definitely great, with his Vitality stat nearing 100 points already.
"Not just that, because I been fighting all kinds of Elemental slime, my luck stat even increased by one point." He said, pressing his Rune spell section, another window appeared.

[ Rune spells]:
[ Rune of Return ]
[ Rune of Reinforcements ]
[ Rune of Effects ]
[ Rune of Explosion ] { Rank 2 }
[ Rune of Attached ] New!
[ Rune of Compress ] New!

"It only took three hundred times of using them, to have them as part of my runes..." He murmured, remembering how long it took them to be part of his window.
Reading the rune spell section carefully, Nine noticed something: "..... Hmm, so there is a ranking or leveling up of these runes."
He said reading the rank 2 next to the rune of explosion. "I used the rune of explosion so much that it actually ranked up. Since the others don't have a rank, they should only be rank 1, unlike explosion, the other two are considered new....."
Nine sighed, seeing how he didn't even realize the rune of explosion was already a part of his window and even ranked up all this time, having to not summon his status window all this time.
"I should really checked my status window more." He said, entering the guild, and moving to where Elaine should be.
"Huh? She's not here?" He said, seeing two empty seat in the receptionist's table.
Neither Alexander nor Elaine was in their seat, so he went to Catherine's table.
"Hello, do you have any quest I can take, something that's not too far from here?" Having no vision or people watching him now, after confirming that he was finally off the grid from Jake a moment ago.
Nine felt like he could now take on other quests, instead of doing the herb-collecting quest and hunting slimes to earn money.
"Nine...." Catherine said, seeing him in the guild after a week of not coming all this time.
"Where have you been all this time?" She said, her voice filled with curiosity, before turning to a nagging tone.
"My sister has been moody since you haven't been coming to the morning meet-up, you two have been having all this time."
"Ohh, that. I've been staying at Marie's place for the last week, since she wanted me to be the taste taster of her new sweets she's making."
Nine explained, gaging up, recalling what he had been eating for the last week.
Having to remember the recipe and instructions on how to make other sweets and food back in his world, as his head adapted to the increased of his intelligence stat.
Nine gave everything to Marie, allowing her to recreate them in this place. Being the only one who knew how these foods would taste, Marie did not allow Nine to leave her place till she got her desired remarks on the things she made.
Forcing Nine to eat every single tryout she had made. Making Nine eat nothing but sweets like cakes and many more for the last week.
"Here, place mana in this and you'll have the cake I was gonna give to Elaine." Nine said, giving Catherine the paper he pulled out earlier.
"Thanks, but you should wait for Elaine to take the other quest, since you know..... She's your personal helper." Catherine said, taking the paper from Nine's hands, then pushing him away to leave the guild.
The reason for her to do this is to prevent Elaine from getting mad at her for taking over her personal adventurer, which she been spending time on all this time.
"Come on, I'm still F-Rank all this time, two seasons have gone by, and now I'm deciding to rank up, you're not letting me?" Nine said, insisting that Catherine give him a quest.
"No! Go away, I don't want to make my sister mad at me." Catherine replied, fisting up and threatening to throw a punch at Nine if he continued to bother her.
Seeing her stubbornness: "..... Alright, if you don't want to, I'll just go to your sisters." Nine said, leaving Catherine's table and moving to Diane's and Beatrix's table.
"No," Diana said, the moment he stepped in front of her table. Not even letting him say a word to her, making Nine's eyes twitch as he heard her.
"No," Beatrix said too, the moment Nine even steps near her table. Following what her sister said to Nine, along with wanting to see more development in Nine and Elaine's relationship, just like how the other sister wants.
"Shit, why are these siblings like this? You're meant to give me a quest, not refuse me!" Nine said, annoyed that he was rejected from taking any quest from them.
"Am I not qualified to take them?" He said to Diane.
"No you are, but who said we would just approve every single quest people want to take?" Diana replied, a smirk on her face. A sign that she was mocking him.
"Now go away, because we're not approving any of the quests you'll take or ask," Diana said, shooing Nine to leave the guild like a homeless dog.
'This red-haired woman....' Nine thought, looking at her.
"You just thought of something rude about me, right!?" Diana said, her red hair rising up as she glared intently at him.
"No," Nine replied, looking at the weird sight he was seeing, and feeling a bit scared.
"Why does this guild even need to have the quest you want to take to be approved by the receptionist before you leave?" Nine asked, thinking about how the guild enforces such a rule.
Giving up, seeing how the three sisters in front of him won't approve of him taking any quest, Nine decided to leave the guild and go north to find a monster to fight there.
Seeing how the three sisters were insisting on waiting for Elaine to help him with the quest, Nine decided to wait for her to come back and finally leave the F-Rank all this time.
