The two wolves staring down Yori begin to question themselves as to what
branch of werewolf he belongs to. They stare at Yori, then at each other
as if wondering why Yori hasn't transformed despite it being a full moon
all whilst he's taken up an offensive stance against them. Snapping out
of their human train of thought, the lycan siblings begin to exude a
great amount of killing intent causing Yori to tense up even more. With
a slight breeze in the air, one of the lycan, Julius, appears within a
meter's range in front of him with their beastly arm and sharp claws
reaching out for his right leg with his left arm whereas the other
lycan, Darius, is a step behind his sibling waiting to attack in
response to Yori's movements. Yori attempts a backward roll and is
barely scraped by Julius' claws then is met with a back-hand swash from
Darius but with quick footwork moves in conjunction with the strike's
momentum creating room for a counter but his posture is limiting giving
Julius enough time for an uppercut sending Yori into the air despite him
guarding it with his strengthened arms.
Darius with predatory precision and great strides makes his way on the
ground towards Yori at the same time Julius, who's ahead positions
himself with feet compressed with strength but pointing towards the sky.
His sibling acting as a trampoline, shoots him in the sky in Yori's
direction. Gritting his teeth with awe as he braces for impact against
the canine shaped arrow, Yori is cleaved-right-claw-first-into a garden.
Julius makes a full gallop towards Yori to finish him off only to find
him standing firm in the garden in an offensive stance. "Argghhh!", Yori
let's out, "That must've broken more than a rib". 'I don't think I can
take any more than five hits like that right now', Yori thinks to
himself.
Startled Julius looks to his brother who ferociously snarls at him in a
warning tone, as though realizing what he means he quickly tries to
twist his body to face Yori but unfortunately collides into a back hand
horizontal punch forcing him to retard his head, Yori presses on
grabbing his right arm with his right hand in a circular motion leading
up to an elbow thrust into Julius' left side urging his body to let out
a pain induced bark. Yori, focusing his strength into his feet kicks
Julius' hind legs from the left causing him to tumble to the ground all
while his brother who is a few feet away rushes to his aid but before
Julius finally falls to the ground, Yori accelerates his face planting
time by pushing his head into the ground. With a loud and rough boom,
Julius' greets the earth. Yori returns to his offensive stance in
readiness for Darius who finally reaches them.
Meanwhile, Dell had his hands full facing Gloria in the small gun battle
arena of the barn. "You're dangerous enough as it is alive and the
church would definitely have a seizure if you died here", Gloria
suddenly says whilst loading bullets into one of her guns. "A man whose
death could cause a war; You're bounty hunter diamond Master Dell".
"I sound like a war scape goat if you say it like that", Dell responds
staring at his gun whilst taking refuge behind a table.
"My wolves aren't back, what exactly are they fighting against?", Gloria
asks as she aims at the table. Dell decides not to respond to which she
responds by firing her gun at him in the same spot thrice with the third
bullet making a hole through the table. He then kicks the table towards
Gloria and fires his own shots through the hole she made on the table
she rolls sideways in anticipation and narrowly avoids them. She also
kicks the barrels she took refuge behind in Dell's direction.
As the wood materials cracked and their splinters painted the floor the
gun wielders were left aiming their guns at one another with no obstacle
in-between them. The last splinter fell to the ground, signaling the
continuation of their battle; they both began to fire off their guns but
none were hitting their mark because they both possessed the innate
talent of marksmen and trajectory reader, meaning that the deciding
factor of their battle would be their overall experience.
"Some would say I'm talented to have avoided your shots but you avoided
mine as well even though I was dual wielding", Gloria frustratingly
tells Dell. With Dell's gun almost running on empty they return to their
stand still postures.
"Hhuhh", Dell sighs. "Bullets take almost a whole day to get here and
you have me almost running on empty", he regrettably mentions.
"In case you were hoping we switch to a fist fight I'd like to tell you
before-hand; that isn't happening", Gloria quickly retorts.
"Was it that obvious?", Dell chuckles. Gloria's face then turns cold as
she calmly exhales and then tightens her grip on her guns. As if sensing
her tenacity, Dell takes aim with an offensive stance. As their senses
heighten and merge with their surroundings, Gloria fires off her
accelerating shot to which Dell perfectly matches a bullet against.
Gloria switches to firing both guns at him but he continues to parry and
avoid them as the bullets ricochet in response to their collisions.
Unfortunately, Dell's bullets run out but he quickly opts to use his gun
to parry the two incoming bullets. He predicts and parries the first
bullet with his gun magazine which shatters from the force and uses the
chamber to redirect the second all whilst planting his feet in a
readiness.
Blood runs down from his arm and hand caused by the shards from his now
broken gun falls in a single droplet on the splinter painted floor; then
in a swift barely readable motion, he bolts towards Gloria who's
startled but continues to fire at him but he effortlessly needles
through the bullets. Gloria sensing the imminent approach of a monster
crosses her arms-guns in hand-against her face and quickly turns to the
left with her right leg raised in great defense. Dell; now present at
Glorias immediate side, unleashes an almighty fist, sending her crashing
into the wall and landing outside the barn in the open area she came
from.
Gloria tries to quickly pick herself up and rolls to the right coughing
out bits of blood as a barrel fell where she lay, she looks to where
they came from only to see two more barrels heading her way. She leaps
forward to avoid the first without need for dodging the second as it was
thrown slightly to her left from the second. Her body terribly aches but
she manages to proudly fire more shots without taking an aiming stance.
Dell with a long piece of hard wood, continues to dodge the remaining
bullets as he makes his way towards her. She then holds a grenade in her
hands with a sad expression on her face.
As Dell's battle meets its close; Darius finally reaches to his
brother's aid with a ferocious right claw swipe against Yori who stood
beside Julius' body but Yori evades it with clockwise momentum which led
up to side back-hand punch to the jaw but Darius too reduced the damage
upon impact by following through Yori's circular motion with his own
counterclockwise motion feeding Yori a berserker's counter.
Yori spits out blood that swelled up in his mouth from the punch then
begins a fist exchange showdown with Darius. Fists to the face and torso
were being given received between the two whilst Yori would occasionally
block or parry. Darius' punches lacked strength because he was currently
focusing on output speed nonetheless his frustration began to rise
because the opponent before him would not fall from such. So instead of
a punch he attempted a left swipe with his sharp claws and as if this
was the moment Yori was waiting for, he aptly used his right wrist to
disable the swipes speed and power then pushed Darius back with a left
palm strike. The lycan places his beastly paw on his chest, heavily
breathing from exhaustion and pain.
Julius as though having heard his brother, rose up from the ground with
his snout open wide and sharp teeth bared at Yori only to be interrupted
by the sound of a large explosion. Yori, Darius and Julius all run
towards the scene of the explosion where rubble and burning debris
slowly fell to the ground. Yori and the lycan siblings found master Dell
shielding Gloria with the back of his garment burnt. The three lycan and
Gloria all had expressions of shock and disbelief on their faces. "That
was a big one, wasn't it?" Dell anxiously asked.
The sound of hands clapping from the forests peripheral alarmed Yori and
those with him. He hadn't heard or felt their presence until the man
chose to start clapping. Dressed in a fine black tuxedo; he said, "I
hired you to get rid of the doggy but you decided to play suicide with a
priest; What a weird story, that's why when the first time fails, I
choose to do it myself". Beside him was a very tall white woman with
grey eyes clad in a suit. "Shard, did we already pay her?".
"I insisted we not pay her until the job is done master Axon", Shard
formally responded.
Fixing his hair, Axon then proudly stares down the ones before him then,
with a prideful smile announces, "I am; first and foremost, a noble
vampire and leader of those sent to hunt here including that hunter. I
am here to personally ensure that no one on this land lives till
tomorrow".
