Chapter 87: Copied
The chaos of the battlefield echoed endlessly as Neraxis and Seraphine's Supreme Expansions continued to clash, reality itself bending and screaming under the pressure. The ground cracked, the air twisted, and distant structures warped as if caught between worlds.
"The time limits are approaching!" Seraphine yelled, her voice strained but steady.
"Hold him back for a little while!"
Yura lunged forward, clashing fists with Neraxis.
THUD! THUD!
Shockwaves rippled outward. Neraxis countered instantly. Yura dodged by a hair's breadth, twisting mid-motion and landing a brutal punch that sent Neraxis skidding backward across fractured ground.
In that lethal second—
Kozuki Toya was already there.
These brats are good, Neraxis thought.
A blade of motion carved across his chest.
Slash.
Blood splintered into the air.
Neraxis' hands ignited with Hellfire, crimson flames roaring violently as he lunged toward Seraphine.
I must dodge—
DODGE!!
She barely evaded, the flames scorching past her face, heat tearing through the air.
Behind Neraxis—
Toya appeared.
His hands burned with Hellfire, perfectly mimicked.
"Hellfire — 99% Copied."
Neraxis twisted away at the last possible instant.
So annoying.
Mirror shards erupted from Neraxis' body as Toya moved again.
Even if I divert all my Vital Force into my senses…
I can't evade it.
This move—once copied—is unevadable.
The shards tore through him.
SWISH! SLASH! BOOM!
They cut, exploded, and ripped into his body, pain tearing through every nerve. Neraxis snarled, veins bulging as he activated Reverse Vital Technique, flesh stitching itself back together under sheer force of will.
At the same moment—
Both Supreme Expansions reached their limits.
CRACK.
They shattered like broken mirrors, fragments of warped space collapsing inward as reality snapped back into place.
The battlefield returned.
Smoke curled upward. Blood dripped onto broken stone.
And for the first time—
Neraxis stood not as an untouchable god…
…but as a devil being pushed back.
