Chapter 79 - Chapter 79: Supreme Clash

Chapter 79: Supreme Clash

{Flashback – Kael Teaching Yura}

Kael murmured softly as he gazed out the window, the distant skyline washed in pale light.

"Yura… listen closely to what I'm about to tell you."

Yura nodded quickly, straightening his posture as he tried to focus.

Kael continued, his voice calm but heavy with authority.

"Supreme Expansion of Space is a supreme technique—above all others—according to our vital laws."

Yura muttered, tilting his head slightly.

"Oh?"

Kael turned just enough to glance at him.

"When two people activate it simultaneously… the result is something called a supreme clash."

Yura nodded again, even though he barely understood, unwilling to interrupt.

Kael kept going, stretching his arm upward as if easing an old strain.

"One person cannot dominate or shatter another's domain purely through power level."

Yura blinked.

"Huh?"

Kael exhaled lightly.

"In most cases, the clash results in a half-and-half Supreme Expansion—each side holding their own space."

Yura nodded, absorbing the words.

Kael continued, his tone sharpening slightly.

"The winner of a Supreme Clash is decided by several conditions."

He raised a finger.

"Physical damage."

Another finger.

"Mental damage."

Another.

"Internal damage."

And finally—

"Vital Force output."

Kael lowered his hand.

"Remember this well. Power levels don't decide everything—unless the gap is truly absurd. In most cases… the nature of the domains decides the victor."

Kael flinched slightly, rolling his shoulder.

"In very rare cases, the clash ends in a draw."

Yura leaned forward.

"What happens then?"

Kael replied calmly.

"The laws of the Supreme Expansions invade one another."

Yura frowned.

"I don't get it."

Kael turned fully now, his eyes sharp.

"For example—my Eclipse of Identity law floods the brain. Past, present, and future selves collide. Identity fractures."

He paused.

"Even if you're standing safely in your own half of the expansion… my law will still affect you."

Kael tapped his temple lightly.

"And your laws will affect me as well."

Yura scratched his head, frustrated.

"I didn't understand anything."

Kael yawned, a faint smirk forming.

"You will soon enough."

He looked back out the window.

"Or maybe… in the future."
