Chapter 67: Starfall Before Eternity
Novaerion dripped blood as mirror shards carved through his body, slicing flesh and tearing muscle apart. Pain flared violently—but he didn't hesitate. He activated Reverse Vital Technique, radiant starlight stitching his wounds back together as flesh reformed.
He shifted into luminous phase, his body dissolving into pure light as he retreated, stabilizing himself mid-air.
Seconds passed.
Then—
Still in luminous phase, moving with infinite speed, Novaerion rushed forward. In an instant, he was right before Neraxis.
Neraxis' four eyes widened.
For 0.01 seconds, Novaerion re-materialized.
His fist ignited with condensed starlight.
"Star Punch."
His voice was calm. Absolute.
THUD!!
Neraxis coated his arm in crimson-burning vital force at the last moment—but the punch pierced straight through his forearm, tearing flesh apart. Blood sprayed violently into the air.
Neraxis staggered back a single step.
Novaerion is deadly…
I must not overextend.
Novaerion pressed forward relentlessly, unleashing a barrage. Each strike crashed into Neraxis' arms, scorching them with starlight, bones creaking under the pressure. Steam hissed as flesh burned.
Neraxis grit his teeth.
"Darn it…" he muttered.
Blood dripped from his body as he barely tanked the assault. His hand moved slowly—deliberately.
"Supreme Expansion of Space."
He grinned, eyes locking onto Novaerion.
The air warped.
Space itself began to fold.
Novaerion's eyes widened. I must force a supreme clash—now.
He tried to pull back—
But Neraxis slammed a vital-force-charged punch into his torso.
BOOM!
Novaerion instantly shifted into luminous phase, blasting himself away as the shockwave shattered the ground beneath them.
But it was already too late.
The space had finished forming.
Neraxis' voice echoed, deep and absolute—
"Fractured Eternity."
