The Principal's barrier faded into nothingness.

His hands trembled. His knees weakened.
Tears ripped through his eyes.
"Kael…" he whispered, voice breaking.
"Why weren't you careful…?"
Nearby, Yura stared at the scattered pieces of flesh that once belonged to his teacher.
His expression was dark. Empty. Cold.
"Sir," Yura said quietly, his fists clenching.
"I will get your revenge. I will never forgive that damn Neraxis."
His voice hardened.
"I will avenge you."
No one could understand how heavy Yura's heart truly was.
The man who raised him.
The man who protected him.
The man who lied—only so Yura could keep living.
His father figure lay gone.
"When I entered Hunter High…" Yura murmured, barely audible,
"I knew you lied about my parents surviving."
His throat tightened.
"You tried to give me everything. You taught me—even though you never had to…"
"…Thank you."
The wind swept across the ruined city, carrying blood and dust with it.
