The space shattered.
Cracks spread across reality itself as the time limit of the Supreme Expansion reached its end. The distorted sky folded inward, collapsing into nothingness.
They returned to the ruined street.
Neraxis stood upright amidst the debris, laughing.
"Bad luck, Draven Kael."
The air warped again.
Another figure tore itself into existence.
Blue light flooded the battlefield as massive eyes opened — calm, ancient, unshaken. A bulky figure followed, its shell resembling that of a colossal turtle, veins glowing softly beneath its skin.
Gorou descended.
Narration:
Gorou is a healing creature, capable of restoring any physical wound.
Yarau is an adaptive tyrant — a being that evolves endlessly, adapting to anything if it fails enough times.
Neraxis spread his arms, grinning wider.
"Looks like it's a one versus three."
A shadow passed overhead.
A falcon screamed through the sky, its cry sharp enough to split the air.
"Actually… one versus four."
Yarau moved first.
Its arms pulsed violently with vital amplification as it rushed forward.
THUD! THUD!
Heavy punches landed cleanly, slamming Kael through a nearby building. Concrete exploded outward as Kael crashed through the structure. Yarau's eyes flared red for a brief instant—
—and vanished just as quickly.
Yarau had adapted.
Yarau had adapted to Kael's VF Overflow.
It no longer needed vital amplification to bypass it.
Yarau attempted a Yellow Dash.
ZZNGH!
But Kael was already moving.
He countered mid-motion, slamming Yarau back-first into another building, the impact cracking its foundation.
From behind—
BOOM!
Gorou's massive kick connected, smashing Kael into the ground. The street cratered beneath him.
Before Kael could rise, Neraxis extended his hand.
Mirror shards erupted from Kael's body.
They exploded outward.
Steel-like fragments tore through flesh, carving deep wounds as blood sprayed across the shattered pavement.
Pain ripped through Kael's body.
Neraxis tilted his head back, laughing — not wildly, but delighted.
"Kuku… KuKuKuKu…"
The hunt had begun.
