Kael walked into the principal's room, passing right by him as if he didn't exist, deliberately avoiding his face.
The principal slammed his hand on the desk.
"What the hell are you doing, Kael?!"
Kael suddenly flinched.
"AA—! I saw a ghost!"
The principal snarled, veins popping.
"Do I look like a ghost to you?"
Kael straightened himself, then burst out laughing.
"Principal, you're funny."
The principal's expression slowly shifted, his anger fading.
"Kael… you're about to fight Neraxis soon, aren't you?"
Kael smiled calmly.
"Yes. I am."
The principal stood up from his chair, his eyes trembling, tears welling up.
"Please… take care of yourself. Don't try leaving us…"
Kael laughed lightly.
"Do I look like a pushover, Mr. Angry Glasses?"
The principal's expression snapped instantly.
Kael turned and bolted.
"HELPPP—!!!"
"Someone, HELPPP!"
The principal chased after him, shouting,
"Come back here, Kael! I'm going to give you a beating!"
Kael's speed increased as he ran down the hallway.
"HELPPP!!!"
Yura, training nearby, saw Kael sprint past with the principal chasing him. He chuckled softly.
"He's always so playful."
