After inviting Cassy, Amabel was in a good mood. She didn't forget to inform Valentine about the guest in case he decides to drop by unannounced.
With the message sent, she picked her things from the car, alighted from the car, locked the car and then left towards the elevator, without a single idea that someone was watching her.
Amabel took the elevator to her floor and on her way up, she got a call and this time it was from Valentine.
A happy smile blossomed on her face as she answered it. "Hubby!"

Her face flushed at getting teased like that. Was he going to continue calling her that even out of the bedroom?

But she liked the teasing as it made her aware that she was always on his mind and that was a good sign.
