I stood at the edge of the mountain staring down at the world from where I was. The land was desolate, filled with nothing but grime, blood, and nothing but a burned-up land.
I couldn't help but reminisce as I stared ahead of me, wondering what had gone wrong. I had a gut feeling of what might have made it all end so lonely. As I observed my surroundings, I finally noticed the last enemy I needed to defeat. It could only make me mutter one word
"bastard!"
I signed, preparing for the attack that I knew would be coming from underneath my foot. Leaping into the air, it appeared to be chasing after me mid-air. Calling up on my space, I took out my bow, nuking it with a study metallic arrow, I targeted its eyes, and I went for the kill.
"Roarrrrr!" The beast roared in pain not expecting that outcome.
'Tch, it grew confident, I've already observed all of its attack patterns after all, we've been at it for 6 months now.' I thought with anger in my heart burning fiercely. I landed with a roll on the ground, easily avoiding its huge claws that struck in desperation.
The beast landed with its head to the ground, creating a huge impact. Not waiting for it to get its bearings, I struck again, this time at its rear, I ran straight towards it, bringing out my double knives for a fierce close combat battle.
I slid under its belly, cutting the veins in its legs and hindering its movement.

The beast cried out in anger, managing to get back up. My position was precarious. With a swift move, I jumped back, creating a significant distance between us.
With its legs out of commission, we made eye contact with a smirk on my bloody face, I roared, racing towards it, exchanging my daggers for my sword while activating its ultimate skill.
"Strike of A Thousand Souls!"
Before I knew it, I could see all of my comrades appear beside me, all of us with the same expressions, running towards our common enemy to end it all! A speed I've never felt before burst out from me, I was like lightning, and like lightning, I struck the beast over and over again till it died, ending its life.
After the defeat, I stared at the beast the thing that made me the last man standing. It looked like something made out of pure human flesh and fluids. It was disgusting to look at. It had consumed everyone and everything!
I stood and just stared at it cause I've seen far worse. After making sure it was dead, I turned my back on it, and before I knew it, I was pierced in the heart, and I was getting consumed.
My skin began to melt, my blood boiling. Looking up I could see the tissue I was pierced with turn into a face I recognize all too well. With shock, I muttered the name I promised not to ever speak of.
'Richard'
He smirked "Long time no see, I have been waiting for our reunion Extra"
Suddenly I laughed,d surprising him, "hahaha! Oh my God! And here I thought I rewrote the story My only villain"
"Well, you did try to, what is this, your 1st trial? You should be proud because you've done what even the protagonist couldn't do even in her 753rd time of regression"
I hummed softly, watching him speak. I knew I was already losing consciousness, but I still had to defeat him with everything I had. I took out a vial from my space, throwing it on the ground to avoid suspicion. The moment it did, a hot white flame burst out burning everything within!
"Ahhhhhhhhhh! You fucking bitch! Bloody hell! I will make sure we die together!" He screamed!
I responded in kind, laughing, "Let's see who will survive last!"
(BOOMMMMMM!)
The mountain exploded, and I was flung away due to the explosion. I could feel I wasn't intact anymore, my right hand seemed to have been devoured by him, and I was only left with half of my body. I looked down just to confirm that I've been split in half due to the explosion.
I didn't panic or look worried, I had given up already. I am the only living creature alive. I was losing blood at a fast rate, but I couldn't help but reminisce while wondering what had gone wrong for everything to change so much.
'Fuck! Hopefully He's dead. If he isn't, just my rotten luck' I thought while remembering how we used to be before all this.
With my breath getting shorter and my consciousness beginning to fade, I saw a silhouette that kept enlarging upon moving closer.
'Damn! He isn't dead yet!? Well, it's over anyway, I can finally rest!'
As the figure could finally be seen, I noticed it wasn't someone I remembered or knew.
The figure spoke, "You have done well. Would you like a redo?"
I got confused, but processing the question made me pissed so I responded with rage in my voice
"A redo? To come back and witness all of this again? To come back and suffer again? Come back for what purpose!?"
The calm look I was given was annoying; there was no movement to show surprise or anything. I couldn't even see their face properly; everything was blurry.
"Oh dear, this was just a Tutorial, the real life hasn't started yet! So I will ask you one more time, choose wisely. Would you like to exit the tutorial round and move into the real one?"
'Huh!?'
'I didn't hear that right! Right!? Is this a Game? Who are these people! Coming in the swoop in at the last minute? Why wasn't I presented with this choice before everyone died!' I could only lament in my head.
"Heh! Bastard! A Big Fat NO! Oh hell NO!" That was my response. And with that, I lost consciousness. hoping never to wake up.
