The light surrounding Mihos disappeared.
His feet touched solid stone again.
For a brief moment, the air around him felt completely different.
The chaos energy was denser.
Heavier.
Cleaner.
Even the pressure of the world itself felt stronger than what he had grown accustomed to in the Lower Domain.
They had reached the Middle Domain.
Mihos opened his eyes.
The teleportation platform beneath him was far larger than the one they had used before. Instead of a small station surrounded by merchants and temporary buildings, this place looked like an entire fortress built around transportation formations.
Dozens of platforms stretched across the enormous complex. Some were active. Others were being prepared. Large formations covered entire sections of the ground, and towers filled with glowing runes rose around the outer walls.
People moved everywhere.
Most of them were stronger than the average cultivators found in Slik City.
