Dreyden froze when he spotted Hallven lounging by the fountain, scribbling something in a small notebook. When Hallven looked up and noticed him, he smiled like he'd been waiting the whole time.
"Oh, you're here. Good," Hallven said, closing the notebook with a snap. "By the way—if you actually like my novel, support it with a power stone so more people can find it."
Dreyden blinked. "You… just said that out loud?"
Hallven shrugged. "Being humble doesn't help me win rankings."
