Chapter 7 - CHAPTER 7: Dance of Destruction

"That's enough."

Femi's voice was calm

but it shook the air like a command the world itself had no choice but to obey.

Israel froze mid-air.

His fist, inches from Tari's body, stopped as if time itself had been locked.

The crimson sky trembled.

The killing intent pouring out of Israel wavered.

"S-sir…" Tari whispered, barely able to lift her head.

Israel slowly turned.

His golden eyes locked onto Femi's.

For a split second

The world went silent.

"That's okay, bro," Femi said casually.

Israel released Tari.

She fell but before she could hit the ground, Femi appeared beneath her, catching her gently.

In the next instant

Israel vanished.

BOOOM!

He reappeared in front of Femi, charging with full speed.

But to Femi

It was slow.

Israel threw punch after punch, his movements wild, brutal, overflowing with rage.

Femi dodged effortlessly.

Left. Right. Step back.

Israel growled like a beast, attacking relentlessly.

Femi stood still for a moment

Then calmly walked toward Tari.

Israel kept swinging, fists passing inches from Femi's face.

"Need to heal her," Femi said.

Without even looking

He caught Israel's punch with one hand.

The impact cracked the air.

Israel struggled, growling, trying to pull free but he couldn't move.

Femi placed his other hand gently on Tari's head.

A soft light spread.

Her wounds began to close instantly.

"You need to cool down, bro," Femi said calmly.

Israel roared in response, struggling harder.

Femi sighed.

"If you really want to do this…"

"I guess we should change locations."

In an instant

The world shattered.

They stood in the middle of a vast desert.

Endless sand stretched in every direction beneath a blazing sky.

"Now this," Femi said, smiling, "is a great view."

He released Israel's hand.

Israel was flung backward, sliding five feet across the sand.

He lifted his head slowly.

Growling.

"Let's dance, bro" Femi paused. "Ah, damn. That sounded cooler in my head."

Israel vanished.

BOOOM!

He charged forward, breaking the sound barrier, sand exploding behind him.

Femi began to move

Like he's dancing.

Dodging effortlessly, spinning, stepping aside as if enjoying music only he could hear.

"If you can graze me," Femi laughed,

"I'll take you a little more seriously."

Israel roared in fury, unleashing a storm of punches and kicks.

Femi avoided every single one

Laughing.

Smiling.

Untouched.

Someone watched from afar.

A faint smile formed on his face as his eyes followed Israel and Femi's clash.

Femi suddenly stiffened.

"…Is that ?" he muttered to himself.

In an instant

Femi vanished.

Israel roared, spinning around wildly, golden eyes scanning the desert.

"GRRRR!!!!"

He couldn't sense him.

Suddenly

Femi reappeared in front of the watcher.

"Yo," Femi said casually.

Apanirun smiled.

"I see old age hasn't treated you badly," Apanirun said calmly.

Femi laughed…. but then his expression hardened.

"Are you here to fight me?" Femi asked.

Apanirun chuckled, shaking his head.

"Nah," he said.

"Just enjoying the show. You boys are putting on quite the performance."

And just like that

He disappeared.

Femi exhaled slowly.

"…Tch. I need to snap him out of that rage fast."

In the next instant

Femi appeared behind Israel.

"Looking for me?" Femi said with a grin.

Israel roared in fury, spinning instantly

He launched an uppercut with everything he had.

BOOOM!

Femi caught it.

Effortlessly.

"That's enough now," Femi said calmly.

Before Israel could react….

Tap.

Femi struck the side of Israel's neck.

Israel's eyes widened.

His golden glow flickered

Then vanished.

His body went limp.

He collapsed into the sand.

Silence returned to the desert.

Femi crouched down and lifted Israel from the sand.

In the blink of an eye, they were back at Israel's house.

Femi raised his hand.

A shimmering aura radiated outward.

Buildings, streets, and debris began to reconstruct themselves, rewinding every single bit of destruction Israel had caused.

The city restored itself perfectly, as if nothing had happened.

Carefully, Femi laid Israel on his bed.

"Get some rest, bro," Femi said softly.

"We need to talk when you wake up."

And just like that, he vanished into thin air.

The room was quiet.

Only the soft hum of restored life filled the city outside.
