"What are you willing to do to achieve something? How serious are you about achieving your goals?"
This was the question that Loki and the other people who came to the Four Directions sect to earn their freedom were asked on their first day in the sect.
For Loki, this question was easy for him to answer because he was reborn as a slave in this world and had already defied the will of his slave master in order to join the Four Directions sect.
He had braved danger and suffering to reach the Four Directions sect. So he knew what it meant to be desperate and was willing to do whatever was required of him to achieve his goal.
In the world of the blessed heaven realm, there is no such thing as human rights, and freedom is a luxury that very few people have. It is said that everyone is a slave to someone. The only difference is how strong their master is.
So he, just like everyone else, is under the control of someone above them. But he doesn't want to remain a slave forever. He aspires to greatness, immortality, and freedom.
He wants to acquire enough power to gain control of his fate. He also wants to rise to the top of the world and be the one to control others. He even wants to gain power and control over death.
In order to achieve this, he is willing to do anything. This is his answer to the question of what he is willing to do to achieve his goals.
His answer to this question was why he awakened the Fenrir metac. This is a metac that can help him achieve his goals by granting him the ability to find prey, hunt prey, and devour them to strengthen himself.
With the Fenrir metac, he will transform from a prey into a predator. He will even have the chance to rise to the top of the food chain and become the strongest predator. That is to be his purpose in life, and with great luck and perseverance, he might achieve it.

On the other hand, if he chose to support their ascension, he would have enough power to stop the Blessed Heaven World. But the other three would definitely succeed in ascending, and after their ascension, he would still lose the Domain Power from them.

So no matter what he chose and how this whole ascension frenzy ended, he would end up 44% weaker because he lost the Domain Power. And when the total Domain Power of the Olympic Court falls below 100 billion square kilometers because he lost 44% of his Domain Power, his Authority would fall to 20, and the whole Divine Court would become weaker because of it.

"Do you see it now?" White Chain said smugly. "Do you see the ingenuity of my plan?"

"I told them that you would surely stop them from ascending, and you proved it when you attacked the Blessed Heaven World. Plus, you've been throwing your weight around in the lower realm a little too much lately."
