"What are you willing to do to achieve something? How serious are you about achieving your goals?"
This was the question that Loki and the other people who came to the Four Directions sect to earn their freedom were asked on their first day in the sect.
For Loki, this question was easy for him to answer because he was reborn as a slave in this world and had already defied the will of his slave master in order to join the Four Directions sect.
He had braved danger and suffering to reach the Four Directions sect. So he knew what it meant to be desperate and was willing to do whatever was required of him to achieve his goal.
In the world of the blessed heaven realm, there is no such thing as human rights, and freedom is a luxury that very few people have. It is said that everyone is a slave to someone. The only difference is how strong their master is.
So he, just like everyone else, is under the control of someone above them. But he doesn't want to remain a slave forever. He aspires to greatness, immortality, and freedom.
He wants to acquire enough power to gain control of his fate. He also wants to rise to the top of the world and be the one to control others. He even wants to gain power and control over death.
In order to achieve this, he is willing to do anything. This is his answer to the question of what he is willing to do to achieve his goals.
His answer to this question was why he awakened the Fenrir metac. This is a metac that can help him achieve his goals by granting him the ability to find prey, hunt prey, and devour them to strengthen himself.
With the Fenrir metac, he will transform from a prey into a predator. He will even have the chance to rise to the top of the food chain and become the strongest predator. That is to be his purpose in life, and with great luck and perseverance, he might achieve it.

While he was making deals with the Dao Lords, he used it as an opportunity to learn about the ancient cultivation system and successfully borrowed their divine beings. So it was a scheme that killed two birds with one stone.

With Heavenly Eye, he killed three birds with one stone. With one Major Supreme Metac, he got a Minor Supreme Metac he didn't have, borrowed her divine beings, and learned a lot about the ancient cultivation system.

However, his plan hit a slight snag. Of the six Dao Lords, Martial Will refused to make a deal with him. When Loki asked the Dao Lord of the Martial Body Sect to take a bribe not to expose his scams, Martial Will said, "I don't like using the scheme of cowards, so I won't expose your scams if I see it."
