When the black roots reached his godhead, the roots pierced it, igniting pain in Loki's mind. Instinctively, he felt as if he was dying. It wasn't an illusion either. The roots were draining his lifespan while dumping Entropy into the godheads.
As someone who didn't produce Entropy on his own, this feeling of Entropy increasing in his body was something he only got when someone was attacking him and trying to kill him.
Usually, in this situation, he fought back and resisted somehow. But this time, he was out of luck.
As the roots drained him, they turned golden. Meanwhile, his godheads and body weakened and dimmed.
"Steady now. Steady," the guardian encouraged him. "You're nearly done now."
Outwardly, Loki sighed in relief and said, "Thank you."
But inwardly, he was screaming, 'Fuck you.'
