Alright, you guys win—I'll keep posting. 😅
I'm a pretty lazy guy though, so if you want new chapters, you'll have to show up and take attendance. Comments are mandatory.
Power Stones would be nice too, even if they're basically useless to me.
I've also been thinking about making a Patreon, but I'm not sure yet. It's a lot of extra work, after all.
....
"Arrogant…!"
The black-robed man whose bone claw had been shattered burned with fury. He knew every top expert in the Eastern Region, only a handful existed in the Ninth Realm of the Human Emperor. How dare this unknown old man look down on him so casually?
Boom!
The bone claw roared forward again,
But a flash of green sword light cut through the sky.
The Green Ivy Sword floated calmly in the air. Chu Xun grasped it and slashed casually.
In that instant,
The world seemed to freeze.
A vast green sword aura surged forth, brimming with vitality. The despair suffocating the hearts of the people below was instantly swept away.
But in the eyes of the three demons,
There was only terror.
"This sword!"
"Third brother, retreat!"
"We can't block it!"
"This sword is deadly!"
The two cloaked figures behind him paled. The ivy sword light expanded wildly, three feet, three hundred feet, three thousand feet, thirty thousand feet, until a colossal blade of light descended from the heavens.
There was nowhere to run.
No escape at all.
"Join forces!"
The three immediately formed a blood-red formation, merging their strength into one.
Their aura soared.
From the Eighth Realm of the Human Emperor,
To the Ninth.
Then to its peak.
And finally, to the very limit of the Human Emperor Realm.
It was terrifying power.
Yet,
Puff!
The thirty-thousand-foot sword light descended like divine judgment.
Even with their combined strength, they were nothing more than ants beneath a heavenly blade.
Blood mist exploded in the air.
The green giant sword crisscrossed the sky, crushing the three demons into nothingness. Even in death, they couldn't understand how this seemingly ordinary old man could unleash power comparable to the Holy Realm.
"Weak."
Chu Xun shook his head.
With his current cultivation, the Ninth Realm of the Human Emperor was already within easy reach. Combined with his Chaos Sword Body and the holy weapon Green Ivy Sword, there were few Human Emperors alive who could block a single strike from him.
These three were certainly not among them.
Silence fell over Tianyun Kingdom.
Everyone stared blankly at the figure in the sky, their breaths frozen.
Just moments ago, the demonic cauldron had been devouring their life essence. Now, with a single sword,
Everything was over.
Liu Jian stood beside Chu Xun, completely stunned.
A moment ago, he had been drowning in guilt and despair.
The next,
His master had erased three demons with a single sword.
And Liu Jian could clearly feel it,
Chu Xun hadn't even used his full strength.
"They were… bragging?" Liu Jian muttered weakly.
"It doesn't count," Chu Xun replied calmly. "With their formation, they did reach the limit of the Human Emperor Realm. They were indeed qualified to hunt the masters of the six holy places."
A pause.
"It's just a pity they met me."
Liu Jian fell silent.
One thought echoed endlessly in his mind,
This is absurdly overpowered.
Before he could dwell on it, Chu Xun's gaze shifted to the crimson cauldron in the sky.
It pulsed with evil light, swollen with the blood it had consumed. A faceless human visage flickered briefly across its surface before it transformed into a streak of light and fled.
"Strange," Chu Xun murmured.
Ordinary treasures had no true intelligence. Even sacred weapons like the Green Ivy Sword possessed only faint spirituality. Yet this cauldron could sense danger, and flee.
Boom!
A massive hand pierced through the clouds and seized the cauldron.
The cauldron trembled violently, attempting to escape, releasing a terrifying suction force to devour Chu Xun's cultivation.
"Hmph!"
With a cold snort, Chu Xun struck it down with desolate force. The cauldron let out a shrill scream, its power collapsing.
"You think an ownerless artifact can escape me?" Chu Xun said calmly.
In a few steps, he arrived before it. The cauldron finally surrendered, shrinking to the size of a palm and resting obediently in his hand.
Below,
The people of Tianyun Kingdom collapsed to the ground, pale and weak, as if recovering from a grave illness. Even the emperor could barely stand.
Yet his eyes burned with excitement as he looked at Liu Jian and Chu Xun.
"So this is it," he thought fervently. "Liu Jian truly is the pride of Tianyun Kingdom."
The students of Tianyun Academy were equally overwhelmed, their eyes filled with reverence.
"What kind of master does Senior Brother Liu Jian have?"
"He killed those demons with one sword…"
"He must be"
Before they could finish their thoughts, the emperor transformed into a streak of light and rushed forward to pay his respects.
