"Authority." Alex read the word on the page, his finger gently tracing the bolded text.
Elias, who was looking at the menu, raised his head. He tilted his head, the flames in his eye sockets flickering slightly, appearing to sense the fluctuation from the content of the book.
"Alex." The Angel called the boy's name, his voice echoing in the quiet room: "What are you reading?"
