"Can't you have a little professional spirit?"
The hooded woman stopped, turned her head to glare at him fiercely, fumbled under her cloak, and found a silver-inlaid work badge to show the police officer blocking her way.
"Can I go up now?"
Glen saw the hooded woman return, smirked, and said to the three bewildered people behind him: "The Ice Mage of the Church of Magic, a crazy woman but her skills in handling corpses aren't bad."
Since Extraordinary Individuals of the Church of Magic rarely interacted with Arbiters, Wood and Hughes didn't know the woman before them. However, the forensic staff frequently needed her assistance to freeze bodies for evidence preservation or long-distance transport.
