"Where is Wood?" Alex asked hurriedly, his eyes darting around searching for the captain's figure. "Where is he?"
"Mr. Wood should have arrived there by now; he left very urgently, told me to tell you that as soon as you returned, you should go to the Patrol Station immediately. He said your observational skills are needed."
"What about here?" According to the regulations of the Church of the Goddess of Light, the special action division in the church basement must always have someone on duty to guard against unexpected situations. Previous Extraordinary Individuals disobeyed orders because of their arrogance, but that didn't mean Alex could follow their example; he always adhered to principles.
