The whole crew froze, the ship was white and had blue lines glowing as they ran across the ship—and of course, big, real big...
"What the-" Jin started before being cut off by Riley.
"NO! NO! I DON'T BELIEVE IT, I DON'T ALLOW IT, NO, IT'S BEEN THREE, DOBOSHES, I CAN'T-I wont... eugh..."
The crew knew Riley, their smart-alec, wasn't mentally ready, they had to fight this on their own. Jin got a boost of inspiration, and everyone felt it, Layla tried to say something but was ignored.
"What was-"
"LISTEN CREW, WE NEED TO GET READY FOR BATTLE, WE ARE THE BASTIONS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!"
Everyone felt a boost of power, and gripped on their controls, waiting for the big ship to make the first move, which it did by starting to charge, Jin was thinking ahead and started giving, orders as a real team leader now.

They all flew up at Jin's orders but Riley was too lost, missing Jin's voice, and it was going to be her last time hearing it unless Yonas didn't launch into action and put up a shield.
"RILEY—AGHHHHHHHHHHH" He screamed before his shield went down and the blast stopped, Yonas' ship was inactive, they knew because the green lights turned off, and Layla was the first to react.
"YONAS!" Layla screamed as she flew her ship into, the big one, with Jin following behind.
Their ships zoomed, Jin's being faster, and Layla's being more powerful, as they blasted the big ship, damaging its Rogashan Beeswacker, but that was all, otherwise, they were getting completely dominated by the enemy ship.
"I just realized we never learned or were taught to use the ships..." Layla commented calmly before they were both blasted with a purple EMP laser and their ships shut off.
They had lost...
Jin was the first to open his eyes, and to see, a white haired cat girl with pink eyes and a pink space suit, and a blonde haired boy with blue eyes, a yellow space suit, dog ears and a dog tail.
"A catgirl? What?" Jin asked, confused.
The cat girl spoke up first.
"Hey, I'm Mina a wonderful princess, from a planet full of, well, cat people! I was cursed with bad luck, so I ran away and escaped to travel the universe before my curse eventually kills me! And, this is Theo, he's some sort of spoiled prince from a planet full of dog people, and managed to get good luck as his curse. This led him to be wanted across the mega-galaxy because everybody wanted some good luck, I mean who doesnt, I know I do, but it's because I have bad luck that I don't have good luck, I mean even though it's just a curse it's like not even that bad, am I talking that much because it looks like I'm talking too much, did it say looks like, I mean it's sounding, like why am I so weird, ha, I'm gonna stop talking now..."
Everyone, including Theo, stared at her in awe, they all kept in silence until Yonas broke the silence in a sing-song tone.
"Aakwardddddd"
They all stared at him.
"Alright, listen up, before I shut you up, pet people. We're gonna need you to let us go, we've got a mega galaxy to defend, so we'd like it if you could stay out of our way, but LOVE it if you could go to hell, one or the other hanks." Layla rudely spoke as she pointed at Theo and Mina.
Theo and Mina stared at each other before letting out loud laughs.
"I'm sorry, defenders of the mega galaxy? If you couldn't beat us, what makes you think you could beat Queen Isabela of the Zarkor army?" Theo said, making himself serious for a second, before breaking out into laughter again.
Layla looked down, she knew they were right, they never had the time to learn, they never had a teacher to teach them, this was all in a rush, and everybody else felt it, this time, Layla pointed it out.
"Is anyone feeling that? Don't ask what, I'm talking about when one of us feels an emotion, the others feel it, even if we're, like now, out of our ships, like we can communicate from our minds or something." Everyone's eyes widened, and their pupils shrank, they all responded, Jin, then Riley, then Yonas.
"Yeah..."
"What the flip, why are you freaking me out?"
"How in hell-"
Then Mina spoke, seriously.
"That shouldn't be possible, unless, there really is ancient technology and power lying in you and those ships, Theo, I've made up my mind, we're taking this little earthlings with us, they will be staying with us, if they really are who they say they are, they're going to need training."
Theo nodded.
"Welp we needed some company anyway, feel free to hang around the castle guys.*
Jin, Yonas, and Layla looked around at the huge castle of a ship,
"We get to hang out, here? OH YEAH!!!" Layla screamed as she started running around with Yonas and Jin.

First thing Jin did was get into the cockpit and take the whole ship for a ride, zooming around the galaxy, while Yonas was going to the food area and stuffing himself.
"WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THIS THING CAN FLY HOT AS HELL!!" Jin screamed as he was zooming around.
"Mmf, Mmf, Mmf, EUGH this food is so good, we haven't eaten for more than a quintant, I've been SO hungry!!!"
Meanwhile Layla was seeing how many things she could break.
"ONE DOWN, TWO DOWN, THREE DOWN, QUADRUPLE COMBO SEVEN DOWN!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
Mina and Theo watched them with smiles on their faces, they were glad they had some company.
A few vargas later...
Jin had finished flying the ship around, and he found Riley sitting by herself in the lab section of the ship.
"Riley, are you alrigh-" Jin tried to start
"SHUT UP JIN" Riley shouted
Jin knew she was going through alot, Boing was her friend since she was a child and she had just lost him, to the hands of a Zarkor general, but Jin knew how that felt.
"I know how you feel Riley" Jin commented
"NO. YOU. DON'T. YOU HAVE NO I-IDEA HOW I FEEL, MY BEST FRIEND IS GONE, my dad gave him to me before he passed, WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOUR DAD-'
"My dad's dead."
Riley froze, and broke into tears, trying to say sorry, but her tongue felt like Jell-o as she cried, and fell into Jin's arms. Jin held her close to his chest, so she wouldn't see him crying.
They cried for one varga and twenty doboshes.

"What do you mean Riley's crying?" King Doe asked, as he sat next to Boing.
Beep~! Boink~! Pop~!
"Wow, you can feel her emotion? I forgot I added that, I'll get back to her soon, my Daughter."

The door opened, and there he was, Empress Isabela's second in command.
"Commander Dav" Doe angerly sneered.
"Come on King Doe, what are you, 57? Don't push yourself too much, as long as you follow the rules, don't go ahead and do what Layla Garrison did to us ten deca-phoeb's ago."
Boing looked at Doe with a shocked face, but Doe just looked down at the ground ashamed, and walked with Commander Dav.
Meanwhile...
Layla was sitting down, and tried to pick up a bottle, but her hand went through it, she thought nobody saw, but Mina was behind her, leaning on the wall with a smirk on her face.
"I didn't expect there to be a ghost on my ship."
Layla looked at her—not scared, but cold and calculated.
"Quiznak."
