"Boss, it's a Mythic-tier!"
Just earlier, one player, unable to contain his excitement, let out a shout. Instantly, the players around Marcus charged forward recklessly. They ignored the vast difference in levels and strength, cast aside any concern for their own safety, and swarmed him in a desperate attempt to overwhelm him through sheer numbers.
When faced with a choice between their own lives and a Mythic beast, killing the beast for its loot was obviously more important.
This was the zerg rush tactic, a common strategy among players. It required no finesse or technical skill, but it was brutally effective. Many so-called super-bosses had fallen under the relentless pressure of a human wave assault.
In the wars of old, the human sea tactic had always been the simplest and most powerful weapon.
But just as the players launched their attack, the knight standing before them vanished in a flash of light, identical to the effect of a Town Portal Scroll.
"Damn it, it ran away!"
