Long before the world learned to fear the dark, there was a boy who tried to protect it.

Born with nothing but loss, he walked a path stained with blood and sacrifice. Each time he saved someone, the world demanded more—until the line between man and god began to blur. They praised him, feared him, and finally… abandoned him.

Power flowed through his body like a curse. He never sought worship. He never wished to rule. Yet legends were carved in his name, and monsters learned to kneel.

The deeper he stepped into darkness, the brighter his existence became for others.

I'd said Season 2 would start July 1. I'm pushing that back, and I want to tell you now instead of going quiet and letting the date slip past.


Going into S2, I took a hard look at Season 1 — especially the opening — and realized it's not as strong as the story deserves. The back half is where TBD really finds itself, and I'd rather fix the early parts than build S2 on a weak foundation and complicate everything later.


So I'm reworking the chapters that need it before I move forward. The published chapters stay up — nothing disappears. I'm not going to throw out a new date I might miss again; when I have a real one, you'll see it here first.
