He caught himself, his armored boots scraped lightly against the stone floor, golden light fading behind him as the portal sealed shut with a soft thrum.
Nemari had left him a gift before he'd gone.
A bracelet rested snug around his wrist. It was golden, radiant, and alive.
The metal pulsed faintly, like it had a heartbeat of its own.
She'd told him that whenever he wanted to cash in on their date-

Terrence smirked.
Of course, he'd made sure to leave her something in return.
He'd caught her completely off guard with a Miracle Touch.
Then he dipped before she could even process what happened.

She was absolutely kicking his ass.
But that wasn't what lingered in his mind now.

That one sat heavy.
He needed answers.
The others were far ahead. He could sense them gathered in a massive chamber, so this narrow tunnel gave him just enough breathing room.

Terrence stared at the space it had occupied for a long second.
"..So basically," he said slowly, "I'm a low-powered Xeno who could end up stronger than his ass if I keep at it?"

"Huh."
He let out a breathy chuckle.
"That's kinda wild."
[You're incomplete, Terrence. You'll need to either defeat or befriend the other Prime Avatars to piece Eternity back together.]
"I think Equinox'll be the easiest," Terrence said casually. "She's chill. Kind. Lonely. Just wants acceptance."
He paused.
"Basically like childhood Naruto."
[And the hardest?]
"Ruin," Terrence answered instantly. "No hesitation. I'll have to beat his ass."
His eyes narrowed.
"It's like he wants to be petty like Reverse Flash, but instead he's just an asshole like Garmantuous from High on Life."
[Crazy reference. What about Kaiser?]
"Fortunately Kaiser's more of a chill and nonchalant MC, happy but wise. I'll definitely be able to befriend him and gee-" Terrence rubbed his forehead. "All this Prime talk got me wanting to play Warframe no lie."
[Same.]
[Fortunately, you've already met Continuum. And Equinox is located within the same kingdom. That one-sided fight with Surtur will naturally draw their attention toward you.]
"Indeed. So what is this the end of the Evo Rend? I doubt that was actually the real Demon King. Considering the other was just the Tutorial."
Something told Terrence there was more to it than what originally was.

Terrence nodded.
He pushed open the tall midnight-black doors.
The chamber beyond was vast, silent, and pristine.
If he had to describe it in one sentence-
It was the place you arrive after beating the final boss of a game.
White light bathed the room.
He looked towards the front of the chamber.
Eiselle, Treasure, and Ariel stood suspended in sleek, white stasis pods. They were unmoving, eyes closed.
Out cold.
And in the very center of the chamber there was one more pod which he obviously assumed was his.

'Something tells me this isn't over..' Terrence thought, eyes narrowing.
Then he shrugged.
"Can't be anything bad."
He stepped into the pod.

All four Evo Pods erupted with blinding white light.
The chamber vibrated.
[Since Ariel is your summon, her evolution will be based on your power.]

The pods glowed brighter.
