The moment Susanoo swung the Kusanagi swords, chaos erupted atop the Fifth Kazekage's office tower. Sand and dust whipped through the air; chunks of stone scattered like rain.
The twin blades of Susanoo struck like violet lightning—swift, brutal, unstoppable—aimed directly at the two overconfident shinobi before him.
In Susanoo's grasp, the enormous swords gleamed with a dazzling, almost blinding light…
Masa and Aisa stared at the incoming twin swords, their hearts flooding with pure terror and despair.
In that instant, it was as if they glimpsed the very figure of death, and an unstoppable force of annihilation that no mortal could withstand.
Susanoo was the embodiment of invincible destruction.
Masa and Aisa had already steeled themselves to die. Facing such overwhelming power, survival was impossible; there was no escape, no hope.
Boom!
A violent explosion of purple light erupted in an instant. Shockwaves tore through the entire Sunagakure office complex. Every building trembled and collapsed in moments.
At that instant, the eyes of every shinobi in Sunagakure were drawn to the blinding, violet column of energy.
When the dust finally settled, all that remained of the original site was a field of rubble. Masa and Aisa had vanished—no bodies, no traces, nothing but bloodstained debris.
"How… how is this possible?"
"Could it be…?"
"M-Masa Captain…"
"…?"
The shinobi of Sunagakure stared in shock. Their hearts felt like they'd stopped beating. Even Bansen and Kyūsui, who had been performing wind jutsu and puppetry techniques, halted mid-spell, astonished.
Their eyes fixed on Susanoo. There was nothing there—nothing but blood staining vast stretches of the ruined office complex.
"M-Masa Captain…" Kyūsui swallowed hard, her eyes wide, unable to believe what she saw.
"Captain Masa… dead? Their elite team leader… gone in a single strike by Susanoo!"
Susanoo swung his twin swords, a faint glint in his eyes.
"I warned you all, but I didn't expect Masa and the others to be so… fragile," Uchiha Some muttered coldly, his voice piercing like ice. "Even restraining myself against ants is difficult—try to understand that."
The surviving Sunagakure shinobi collectively drew in a shaky breath. Their eyes toward Uchiha Some brimmed with awe—and fear.
"Susanoo's power… it's this strong?!"
"This is terrifying… beyond imagination… not even human…"
The shinobi whispered amongst themselves, their hearts gripped by fear. Everyone knew the coming battle was no longer theirs to fight. Susanoo alone could wipe them all out.
Inside Susanoo, Uchiha Some surveyed the remaining shinobi. Raising his Zanpakutō, he spoke coldly, "Then… allow me to end this farce."
In the next instant, Susanoo lifted the Kusanagi swords high!
"Move! Get out of here—NOW!"
Inside the Kazekage tower, the Sunagakure shinobi panicked, screaming as they tried to flee.
The twin blades of Susanoo descended in a deadly dance through the air.
Rumble… crash…
The earth shook, mountains quaked. The Kazekage tower collapsed under Susanoo's strike, its roof impaled straight into the ground. Dust billowed, debris flew; the office complex was reduced to rubble.
"It's over," Uchiha Some declared.
"The rest of you… I'll let live. Make sure you inform the Kazekage: I was here. Tell him that only a ceasefire is the best choice."
With that, Uchiha Some released Susanoo, then, relying on Takama no Hara, tore open the boundary of time-space.
He stepped backward through the rift, speaking over his shoulder, "If anyone still wishes to act, do it quickly."
Yet, even with Some pausing for several minutes, not a single Sunagakure shinobi dared move. Every breath was cautious, every heartbeat tentative.
Shaking his head, Some could hardly believe how cowardly these shinobi were. But… it suited him. Their plan had succeeded.
"Cowards, all of them… it's a pity. Remember to inform your Kazekage: I am not a mindless killer. If it weren't for my commitment to peace, you would all already be dead!"
With that, Uchiha Some vanished into the spiraling rift of time-space.
After his departure, the Sunagakure office ruins slowly revealed survivors. They clawed their way from the rubble, murmuring, "Too terrifying… too terrifying…"
"Was that… really an Uchiha? The Mangekyō Sharingan… it's too much!"
"Don't even think about it. Masa Captain… they're probably gone."
"Send word to the elders and the Kazekage immediately. Now the decision rests solely with him."
Uchiha Some's sudden strike had left Sunagakure's shinobi utterly shaken.
"Some! Are you alright?!"
Within Takama no Hara Castle, Uchiha Ryuka rushed forward the moment she saw Some return, concern etched across her face.
Tsunade watched silently, saying nothing.
"Heh… little girl, you really have no idea. This one isn't what he seems on the surface… you don't understand just how ruthless this little guy can be," Tsunade muttered, eyes narrowing at Ryuka's concern like a moth drawn to flame.
Yet, as a caring elder sister, Tsunade stepped forward as Some returned, pressing him gently against her chest. "Some… next time, don't be reckless. You can't face so many Sunagakure shinobi alone."
Feeling the warmth and concern of both Ryuka and Tsunade—especially Tsunade's soft, generous care—Some's heart skipped. Then, he quickly restored his composed, gentlemanly demeanor.
"Tsunade-sensei, Ryuka-nee, Uncle Tanbi, and all my brothers… don't worry. I am fine. We should return quickly and end this war with Sunagakure."
Everyone nodded, though Tsunade silently continued to grumble.
She didn't understand Some's obsession with calling her "Tsunade-sensei," both in public and in private—even when handling serious matters alone.
And the way he accompanied it with bizarre phrases like, "I'm coming! I'll give it all! Full force!"—ridiculous nonsense that made her face burn in embarrassment.
Damn it… how does she always remember things like that?
It had to be some curse placed by this naturally mischievous Uchiha boy.
