Chapter 63 - Chapter 63: Betty’s Information Tip — Take Advantage of the Opportunity!

Information prompts combined with health bar templates created a qualitative change.

Originally, Heidi could hold on for half an hour, but once her weaknesses were revealed, she lasted less than ten minutes before being completely defeated.

Green represented allies, red represented enemies, and blue represented neutral parties.

This setup made it easy to distinguish friend from foe, and the information prompts were also extremely useful.

In addition to revealing weaknesses in battle, they also provided hints such as what gifts a person liked, their preferences, and even their favored postures.

"That's so cool!"

Steve looked at Heidi, who had fallen asleep beside him. He hadn't expected the rewards from the system to be so practical.

If he ever faced the Hulk again, he might not be able to truly defeat him, but he could at least wait until the Hulk's rage dissipated on its own.

Currently, Steve had two missions to complete — one of which was to gain control of Hydra. The reward for that mission was an upgraded serum.

Steve was very much looking forward to it.

Although he possessed the purest version of the super soldier serum, under normal circumstances, his strength ranged between two to five tons, and when fully exerted, could reach ten tons.

But compared to the modern version of the serum seen after Avengers: Endgame, his current power seemed much weaker.

Therefore, the serum's evolution was certainly something to anticipate.

Only after becoming Captain America himself did Steve truly understand why the movie version seemed "weak."

The difference was that the real Steve Rogers restrained his strength when fighting ordinary people, afraid of killing them in non-war situations.

But he was different now — he no longer held back. He used any tactic necessary, including low blows and lethal strikes.

He never pulled his punches, and many thugs had already been beaten to death by him.

This was why the "righteous" were always weaker by three points, while the "blackened" were ten times stronger. Without moral restraint, anyone standing in your way could be crushed.

Culver University, Virginia.

A fair-skinned, beautiful blonde woman walked out of the university gates in high heels. Her sapphire-blue eyes radiated intelligence and warmth.

Her long, slightly arched eyebrows gave her a touch of elegance, and her gentle gaze felt as soft as spring water.

This woman wasn't the typical definition of "sexy," yet her refined beauty drew every eye.

Betty Ross.

From a car parked in the distance, Steve spoke into his earpiece, "The target has appeared. Begin the operation."

It had been nearly five years since Betty and Dr. Bruce Banner had broken up, yet some bonds never truly faded. Still, time had slowly worn down their relationship.

Recently, General Thaddeus Ross had introduced a senator to Betty, hoping she could move on.

The senator, Peter, was in his forties — a prime bachelor's age. Initially, he dismissed the idea of dating the general's daughter.

But when he met Betty in person, his heart skipped a beat — something no other woman had made him feel in years.

At that moment, he knew he had to make Betty his wife.

As she walked toward him, she gently tilted her head and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, revealing a natural grace that made his pulse race.

"Betty, this rose is for you. I hope you like it," Peter said, handing her a flower.

He had spent weeks arranging this meeting. Tonight would be perfect — dinner, a movie, a bar, and perhaps a hotel afterward.

Just imagining it made his heart race — and his body react.

But before he could say another word, three masked men approached.

Joseph, the leader, snatched the rose from Peter's hand and crushed it underfoot. Then he grabbed Peter by the collar and lifted him off the ground.

"How dare you play with my girlfriend! You even got her pregnant, made her get an abortion, and didn't say a word! Are you even human?"

"I don't know you! I didn't— stop talking nonsense!" Peter shouted.

Maybe he really had done something like that before — but with so many women, who could remember? Still, being humiliated in front of Betty infuriated him.

If he survived this, he would make these men pay.

"No! All three of our girlfriends had abortions because of you, you monster!"

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The three super soldiers restrained themselves, breaking Peter's hands and feet — and ensuring he would never harm another woman again.

"This woman seems to be his girlfriend. She must pay the price too!"

"Yeah! We'll treat her the same way Peter treated ours!"

Betty froze in fear as the three men approached her.

Just as she stepped back, Steve appeared, wrapping an arm around her waist.

"What are you doing, attacking people in broad daylight?"

"Oh no! It's Captain America!"

"Retreat!"

The three men ran off, leaving Peter unconscious on the pavement.

At first, Betty was furious — where exactly did this man's hand just go?

But when she heard the name Captain America, her anger softened.

"Are you… Captain Steve Rogers?"

"I am. Can we talk? Let's go to your apartment. I met Dr. Banner earlier."

"Really?! Please, come with me!"

Her curiosity outweighed her shyness. She wanted to know everything about Bruce.

A hero saving the beauty — classic.

Steve got into Betty's car, and they drove off toward her villa.

Meanwhile, Peter lay unconscious on the street. Fortunately, a few kind citizens called an ambulance; otherwise, he might have died there.

The three "attackers" had already changed clothes and slipped away — they had another task: to contact the Green Goblin (from Spider-Man 1).

A few days earlier, Sharon Carter had informed Steve that Norman Osborn's physical enhancement formula had been developed — though the side effects were severe.

When Steve visited Brazil yesterday, a man wearing green armor and flying on a glider appeared during Osborn Group's celebration — along with the now-famous Spider-Man.

After receiving this intel, Steve immediately realized — this was a perfect opportunity to fish in troubled waters.

To control S.H.I.E.L.D., he needed resources. And what better way to make money than using super-criminals to rob the rich?

It was faster than robbing banks — and it would generate "crises" that forced the world's elites to rely on S.H.I.E.L.D., growing its power and influence step by step.

Once he had wealth, property, and his own army...

"That's what you call being a warlord," Steve thought with a smirk.

By then, he wouldn't need the World Security Council's funding.

As long as super-criminals existed, heroes like him would always be needed.

But that was all for later. For now, Steve's task was simple — deliver Banner's breakup letter to Betty.

And if an opportunity arose... perhaps he could also "test drive" this American sweetheart's luxury car.

This wasn't impulsive — the system itself had calculated that when Betty read the letter, she would cry until she fainted...

And that would be his chance to take advantage of the situation.
