Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: The Vampire Was Attacked While Having a Party

Feslun Building.

From the outside, it looked like an entertainment complex. The first floor housed a nightclub and bar, the second floor a KTV, and the third and fourth floors private clubs.

Private clubs were booming businesses—perfect for networking or making money.

But such buildings usually required strong connections or a powerful backer, a congressman or a big shot, to operate openly.

Across the street, Steve used a telescope to survey the middle floor.

The vampires were indulging in an extravagant party, completely reckless.

Among them was Quinn, Feslun's previous confidant, also reveling in the chaos with two girls by his side.

Blade watched from the side, speechless. "Captain, shall we move?"

"Of course. Test out the new hang glider, glide over, and strike precisely. Are you brave enough?" Steve set down the telescope, noting there wasn't a single competent vampire among them.

"Fear? Not at all!" Blade grinned, excitement gleaming in his eyes.

The two equipped the gliders and launched from the rooftop. The gliders unfolded, swooping over the top floor with precision.

Steve landed perfectly, using his shield to knock a dancing vampire aside, dissipating the force flawlessly.

Confusion rippled through the vampires. Who was this falling man, stronger than any of them?

Quinn recognized Steve immediately—the Captain America who had challenged them before!

"Kill him! Drink his blood!" Quinn roared, eager to gain strength from the super soldier.

Steve simply smiled and pulled out a high-intensity ultraviolet flashlight.

Sizzle!

The vampire screamed and retreated, burning painfully under the light. Ultraviolet rays were lethal, and even these powerful vampires couldn't resist.

Seeing Steve brandish the flashlight, the rest froze. No one dared make the first move.

Furious, Quinn shouted, "Go! He's just one man. Kill him and drink his blood!"

Blade joined the fight, his enchanted katana burning vampires to ashes with each strike. Professionals made all the difference.

Steve noted the flashlight's effect was slow, so he stowed it and advanced with his shield. Clenched fists channeled his qi, each punch vaporizing vampires with explosive force.

The two warriors flanked Quinn, who realized where Faith was.

"Stop them!" Quinn panicked. "This is impossible!"

Despite the overwhelming numbers, the vampires were being slaughtered systematically. Quinn shoved the female vampires aside and fled, leaving them vulnerable.

Two female vampires approached Steve, trying to seduce him. But Steve had no interest—his girlfriend was far superior. A single punch felled both assailants.

The remaining vampires fled in terror. These were monsters, yet facing Steve, they became helpless.

Upstairs.

Feslun had just killed a corrupt policeman who tried to tip off authorities. He had acquired the knowledge needed to perform a vampire elder sacrifice and increase his own power.

"Boss! Captain America and Blade are here! They're killing our people!" Quinn cried, terrified.

Bang! Quinn was struck and sent flying through a wall.

Faith's pale face darkened with impatience. "Send people! Show some courage! I saved you too many times to let you scream now!"

Recovering from his previous injuries required large amounts of blood. Feslun, wealthy in resources, ensured he had enough to survive and continue his schemes.

He and his girlfriend Mercury descended via another elevator, aiming to perform the sacrifice and gain supreme power.

Bang! A shield struck Faith, sending the notebook containing vital information to the floor. Mercury reached to retrieve it—and then froze at the sight of military boots.

Bang!

In the next instant, her head was gone.

"Damn it!" Faith abandoned the notebook and fled, caring little about Mercury's death.

Special forces led by Crossbones arrived from below, taking out vampires with specialized bullets. Blade, seeing Mercury's decapitated body, remarked, "I thought you'd spare her—she's attractive."

"I don't do trash," Steve replied flatly. "She's a syphilitic mess. Not my type."

Finding a pure, beautiful vampire was as difficult as digging for gold in a cesspool.
