~{DEBORAH'S POV}~
*
HE DODGED!
It was so smooth and mechanical. A slight tilt of his left shoulder to the side like he had expected it and that was all it took for me to know that I had acted foolishly and dug a grave for myself.
The look on his face was serious, hard and dreadful.
Without thinking, I turned and ran with everything I had in me because I knew this was the end of me.
I didn't even bother looking behind me because if I do so, my heart will fail.
I actually shot with the aim of hitting his left shoulder which would leave a fatal injury but won't be life threatening. I never intended to kill him but since I shot and he dodged, he wouldn't let me off so easily.
Every force, thud and move I exerted into running felt futile and slow, making me begin to pray to God to help me from the mess I had intentionally committed.
It was only when I felt a force catch me from behind and push me to the ground did I realize that it was over for me.
"NO!!!!!!!"
