I stood at the balcony of my room with a smile on my lips as I waited for Deborah.
She will be thrilled, but won't show it.
Still, I knew what to do to get her to open up.
She may act like nothing could break her but I knew just the right thing for that attitude.
A knock came at my door and I smiled even brighter.
"Come in," I permitted the person.
When the doors came open, I walked back into the room just to find my personal messenger instead of Deborah.
He had a conflicted look as to whether to tell me what the queen said or not.
"What is it?"
"The queen has refused to come, your majesty. I am sorry." He apologetically said.
"And what was her reason?"
"None sir." He answered and I closed my eyes as I inhaled deeply before exhaling.
She was testing my patience.
It was obvious she was trying to get on my nerves but I won't give her that satisfaction.
"Where is she?"
"In her room." He responded.
