Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: The Second Alien Hero Appears!

Although the Rustbucket looked old, it was surprisingly fast and steady when driven at full speed. At least, Aiden didn't feel any bumps along the way.

The vehicle sped through the forest, drawing closer and closer to the source of the flames visible in the distance. The cries for help outside grew louder by the second.

Moments later, the Rustbucket screeched to a stop near the campsite.

Outside the window, chaos had erupted—tents were burning, the ground was full of holes, and terrified campers were fleeing in every direction.

Without hesitation, Aiden jumped out of his seat and pushed open the door.

"Aiden, be careful!" Grandpa Max called after him, worry flashing in his eyes.

"Got it, Grandpa! You all stay safe too!" Aiden replied with a reassuring smile before stepping out into the open.

He raised his wrist and pressed down on the Omnitrix.

The symbol glowed green, and with a flash of light, his body transformed—not into Heatblast, but into a tall, burly, crystal-skinned alien whose entire body gleamed like a living gemstone.

"Huh? Aiden, why didn't you turn into the fiery guy from before?" Grandpa Max asked curiously.

The diamond-skinned alien lifted his arm, seeing his reflection in its mirror-like surface.

"Must be a glitch in this thing. Let's just call it… the 'Little Broken Watch,'" he muttered with a helpless laugh.

"Cool! A second alien hero!" Ben exclaimed in awe. "Does he have a name?"

"The last one was Heatblast," Aiden said, thinking for a moment.

"Then this one…" He clenched his fists, the diamond crystals along his arms glowing faintly. "Let's call him Diamondhead."

Before anyone could comment, a terrified camper ran past them, screaming for help. Behind him hovered a mechanical creature shaped like a metallic disc, glowing with red light.

"Help! Somebody help me!"

When the camper saw Diamondhead rushing toward him, his eyes widened in panic. "A–another alien?! Don't eat me!"

But Diamondhead only glanced at him briefly, then charged straight past—heading right for the hovering disc robot.

"Target detected. Target detected," the robot's scanner buzzed coldly as its emitters locked onto Diamondhead.

Whoosh!!

A red energy beam blasted out, exploding against his chest in a violent burst of smoke and fire.

"Target eliminated," the robot droned mechanically.

"You mean… eliminate me?"

From within the smoke, Diamondhead stepped forward—completely unharmed. His crystal body shimmered under the moonlight.

Bang! Bang!

More beams fired, more explosions erupted—but he kept walking, undeterred. The energy blasts bounced harmlessly off his body as if he were made of solid armor.

"This alien… he's saving me?" the camper muttered in disbelief, staring in awe.

Diamondhead stopped just a few feet away from the robot. "You've had your turn. Now it's mine."

He extended his arm, grabbed the edge of the disc robot, and pulled it close with overwhelming strength.

His right hand morphed into a large, razor-edged crystal blade that glinted sharply in the firelight.

Whoosh!

He swung.

Crack!!

The red scanner dimmed instantly as the robot's body split clean in two. Sparks flew, and the ground in front of him cracked for over ten meters.

"One down," Diamondhead said calmly, retracting his blade and scanning the area.

Farther away, several more disc robots hovered in the air, while a massive battle robot rampaged across the campsite, firing wildly at everything around it.

"Figures," he muttered. "So you sent backup."

Then a familiar chime echoed in his mind.

[Ding! Detected sign-in target: Giant Robot.

Draw attention from all surrounding robots to complete the sign-in.]

A grin spread across Diamondhead's face. "Perfect. Guess I'll make some noise."

His right arm shifted, the blade morphing into a crystal cannon. "Let's see how you handle this!"

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

He fired a volley of diamond shurikens that sliced through the air.

One pierced clean through the giant robot's shoulder armor, sending sparks flying, while the others narrowly missed the smaller drones as they zipped away.

"Target found. Target found."

Every robot suddenly turned its sensors toward Diamondhead.

"Destroy him!!" Mojias's furious voice echoed through the robots' communication link.

As the machines all aimed their weapons at him, the terrified campers who had managed to escape turned back to look.

They watched in awe as the crystal-skinned alien stood tall amid the chaos, glowing with courage and power.

This alien wasn't here to destroy them—he was their protector.
