He straightened up, his bulk blotting out the torchlight, and Xu Ran saw for the first time the full scope of the man… towering, mountainous, with arms like tree trunks and hands that could encircle his throat with room to spare.
The fatty reached down and undid the first knot of Xu Ran's bindings with surprising delicacy, his thick fingers working with the practiced ease of a man who had done this many, many times before.
"There we go," he cooed, as Xu Ran's right arm came free and only to be immediately pinned again by the fatty's weight.
"Nice and easy. No rushing. I promised you a long, long time, didn't I? And I always keep my promises."
Xu Ran squeezed his eyes shut, tears leaking from the corners, as the big fatty's shadow descended over him.
