Yang Yixue looked at her three disciples one last time.
"You should all get some rest. We have a long road ahead of us."
The three goddesses nodded.
"Yes, Master."
Yang Yixue then turned around and continued toward her chamber.
She didn't need to explain anything further.
Her disciples were ancient beings themselves.
They understood her choice, and more importantly, they trusted her.
As Yang Yixue disappeared into her room, the three goddesses remained standing in the corridor.
For several breaths, nobody spoke.
Then the Flame Goddess finally broke the silence.
"...Our master really doesn't hesitate once she makes up her mind."
The Shadow Goddess smiled.
"She waited millions of years for someone to save her. Why would she hesitate now?"
The Sun Goddess glanced toward the closed door.
"More importantly, she looks happier than she has in a very long time."
The other two fell silent.
That was indeed the most important thing.
