Chapter 14 - Chapter 14 Title

Lin Feng ate heartily and slept peacefully afterward. With nothing left to trouble his heart, his mind relaxed completely, and he soon drifted into deep slumber.

In his dreams, the future unfolded in vivid colors… towering realms, boundless power, and an endless procession of peerless beauties by his side.

Dozens, hundreds, perhaps even thousands of wives smiled at him as he stood at the peak of cultivation, gazing down upon all under heaven.

Even in sleep, the corners of his lips curved upward in satisfaction.

When morning came, Lin Feng woke at exactly seven o'clock.

The first rays of sunlight filtered through the window, bathing the room in a gentle golden glow.

He rose calmly from his bed, washed himself, and changed into fresh robes.

Every movement was unhurried, as if time itself bent to his rhythm.

Once prepared, he stepped out and began his walk toward Classroom 101.

The academy grounds were already bustling with activity.

Teachers and servants hurried back and forth, some discussing cultivation, others gossiping idly to pass the time.

As Lin Feng passed by, conversations subtly shifted, voices lowering yet carrying clearly to his ears.

"I heard Teacher Lin Feng fooled a student."

"I heard more than that. She's from the Wang Clan… and not just anyone. She's said to be extremely beautiful."

"Tch, that Wang Clan really has fallen. Sending such a treasure to a teacher like him."

A few sneers followed, mixed with mocking laughter.

"How about we make a wager on how long Miss Wang will last under Teacher Lin Feng?"

"Fine. I bet one month before she's screaming to quit!"

"You're too generous. I say she won't last half a month."

"I'll give it two months."

The crowd laughed loudly, tossing gold coins back and forth as wagers were made, treating Lin Feng's future and Wang Yuyan's as nothing more than a source of amusement.

In their eyes, Lin Feng was still the same dumb newbie instructor with no achievements to his name, someone destined to fail no matter what he attempted.

Yet Lin Feng did not slow his steps.

His hands remained clasped behind his back, his back straight, his gait calm and measured.

Each step carried the bearing of someone who had already seen the rise and fall of countless eras.

To an outsider, he appeared indifferent, to those who could truly perceive, he was like a deep, unfathomable abyss.

Hearing their words, Lin Feng merely shook his head.

A faint, amused smile surfaced on his face not out of anger, nor disdain, but pity.

"Such noise," he thought calmly. "In the end, they are still ants arguing beneath the mountain."

"Sigh… they truly have eyes, yet fail to see Mount Tai," Lin Feng muttered softly under his breath as he continued forward, his figure gradually disappearing into the distance, leaving behind nothing but shocked stares and careless laughter… laughter that would not last much longer.

"Good morning, Teacher!" Wang Yuyan greeted brightly as soon as she saw Lin Feng enter the classroom.

Lin Feng paused for a moment, a flicker of surprise crossing his features.

Classes were scheduled to begin at nine, yet it was still early and here she was, already present, standing straight and composed.

Her posture was impeccable, her robes neatly arranged, and the faint morning light caught on her hair, giving her an almost ethereal glow.

It was rare to see a student arrive this early.

"Hm," Lin Feng murmured, giving a slight nod.

His expression was calm, yet there was a subtle sharpness in his eyes as he assessed her.

As he stepped into the classroom, he immediately noticed something more: the room itself.

The floor gleamed faintly, polished as though it had been scrubbed with care.

The tables and chairs were dust-free, arranged perfectly in neat rows, each placed with precision.

Even the windows appeared to have been cleaned recently, letting the morning sunlight spill into the room without obstruction.

It was clear that Wang Yuyan had not only arrived early but had taken the time to prepare the classroom meticulously.

Lin Feng's lips curved into a faint, approving smile, though it was subtle enough that only he noticed.

He didn't comment aloud… instead, he appreciated the effort silently.

"Let us begin today's lesson," Lin Feng said, his voice calm and measured.

From that moment, the classroom became a place of focused energy.

Lin Feng guided Wang Yuyan through the intricacies of cultivation theory, carefully demonstrating the circulation of the Chaos Mantra.

His instructions were precise, his explanations detailed yet concise, ensuring that each concept sank deep into her understanding.

Wang Yuyan listened intently, her brow occasionally furrowing as she concentrated, but she never faltered.

Under Lin Feng's careful guidance, her comprehension grew steadily.

He could see the Chaos Mantra within her body responding exactly as he had hoped, its energy flowing smoothly through her meridians, harmonizing with her natural spiritual energy.

Observing her progress, Lin Feng allowed himself a quiet sense of satisfaction.

With his current level of cultivation now at the peak he could heal her completely in a single touch.

A simple motion of his hand would be enough to restore her fully.

But such an act would be too abrupt, too unbelievable for any outsider to accept.

It would draw attention, raise questions, and perhaps even spark jealousy or suspicion among others.

That would ruin the delicate balance he was carefully maintaining.

No, he needed to proceed gradually.

And so, he continued with his original plan.

Wang Yuyan would be healed slowly, over seven successive sessions.

Each session would strengthen her body, refine her energy circulation, and deepen her connection with the Chaos Mantra.

By the time the seventh session was complete, her progress would appear entirely natural, unforced and undeniable.

Her special physique would be unsealed.

As the morning passed and the sunlight grew brighter, the two of them worked in quiet harmony.

The only sounds were Lin Feng's calm instructions, Wang Yuyan's soft acknowledgments, and the gentle rustle of robes and pages.
