Chapter 18 - Chapter Eighteen

Soraya's POV

To say I was frightened was an understatement. Yet…

Yet I couldn't help but shiver the more Draven drew closer to me.

"So," he paused, lightly trailing a finger on my face, the action causing me to shiver, my panties going wet.

Moon goddess, I was pathetic.

How could I be horny at a time like this?

Yet, I felt the bond strain, trying to pull us close, the feeling impossible to ignore.

I knew I shouldn't hope for anything— they hated me. I felt it, yet I couldn't stop myself from inching closer to Draven like a touch starved wolf in heat.

A light smirk hung at the side of his lips, a cruel light flashing in those green eyes of his. "Are you ready to admit what you did or do my brother and I have to resort to something else? I assure you, it won't go well in your favour."

My skin prickled, goosebumps rising at his words.

"I—," I stammered, fumbling with my words. "I didn't do anything to her."

"Of course you didn't." Lucen scoffed from the side, looking down at us like we were peasants beneath his feet. "Brother if you are done playing, I'd like us to take this seriously. I do not take kindly to anyone hurting our sister."

"Be patient Lucen." Draven said, still twirling with the lock of hair. "Taking things too fast won't be fun don't you agree?" He suddenly dropped the hair he was toying with, standing to his feet.

It almost made me whimper, but I stopped myself before the embarrassing sound could escape my throat.

Calmly Draven looked to his brother. "Besides, we all all the time we need to get the truth from her."

The way he said it. Cold. Unblinking and with no emotion had a chill climb down my spine.

"I am innocent." I blurted. "I didn't touch or do anything to her, please believe me."

I wanted to cry. To scream, desperate for one of them to just say they did believe me, but sadly it didn't happen.

Both of their stares were pinned to me, their expressions blank and mirrored.

They acted like believing me would have been a crime or even a sin in their regard.

Just knowing this, brought tears to my eyes, a painful sting at the back of my sight.

"Awwn, are you crying?" Draven mocked. "Sadly, it's too early to do that. We still have a lot to do, so forgive us for taking our sweet time with you."

I sniffled, forcing the tears back.

Again, he made me realise crying was useless.

"To your feet omega." Lucen suddenly said.

I turned to him, taking note of his expression. The lack thereof.

Draven took a step back, letting his brother lead. "Do as he says."

I knew things were about to get worse, but I couldn't stop it no matter how hard I tried.

Slowly, I pushed myself from the floor, standing before them.

Their stares bore into my skin, causing my hackles to rise.

I felt so small in front of them. So inferior even.

The feeling had my insides twisting painfully.

Jada peered anxiously in the back of my head, whining at her mates, but I knew those were useless.

Not with the way their gazes pricked my skin, making me feel vulnerable, I let out a whimper.

Both their eyes glowed at once, telling me their wolf was present.

"Strip." Draven ordered, his voice low.

"W–what?" I took a step back in shock.

Did I hear wrong?

How could they ask me to take my clothes off?

Lucen however wasn't pleased. His frown deepened, a growl rumbling in his chest. "You aren't deaf, so don't make me repeat myself."

"I— I can't do that." I refused, tears streaming down my face. "Please don't make me do it."

"Are you being serious right now omega? Is this the first time we see you naked?" Draven laughed, the sound a deep jeering one that stabbed at my pride. "Remember the first time my brother took you? It was in the hallway, and like a slut, you had happily spread your legs, so now what's wrong?"

I blushed, lowering my head in shame as the memory hit me along with a pang of sadness.

That hadn't been my fault. I was in heat.

I wanted to say, but I kept to myself. Why bother? They wouldn't believe me anyway.

My silence only made Draven scoff.

"Don't try to play coy omega. Remember who your masters are, and do as you are told." Draven snarled, his patience wearing thin.

"I won't repeat myself a third time. Strip."

I flinched, Lucen's snarl causing me to cower.

I gripped at the fabric of my dress, angry tears spilling out.

Fear, shame, anger and hurt boiling together at once.

I was innocent. Why were they trying to punish me for something I didn't do?

For their sister who was just as self centered as they were.

If she had listened to me… if she had left when I ignored her, then I wouldn't be in this situation.

I gripped my dress harder, my hesitation shimmering down to pure unfiltered anger.

I narrowed my eyes, looking up to glare at them, my action catching them by surprise.

Good.

I'll let them know I wasn't weak. I might be an omega, but I refused to be trampled on.

"No." I gritted, clenching my fists.

Draven lifted a brow in question, while his brother growled at me. "What did you say?"

His voice was low, filled with promise to rip my head apart, but I knew he wouldn't do that.

"I said no." I repeated, my heart pounding loudly in my chest. "I didn't do anything to your sister, so I won't be doing whatever you want me to do."

The temperature in the air dropped faster than a bomb exploding, a heavy silence clouding the room.

"Do you have a death wish?" Draven asked, darkly.

I took a step back, my rage filled courage taking a hit at the threat.

Their muscles buldged ominously, as they took a slow step towards me.

Didn't they say mates were suppose to love you? Why were mine treating me this way?

Although I never for once believed in all that the day I realised who they were, but it didn't stop me from dreaming.

Deep down, I wanted something magical to happen, but once again, the moon goddess was playing me.

However, I felt rage.

Why should I have to bear all these when I did nothing wrong?

Time and time again, I let injustice slide, yet this always happened to me. Why?

"Omega."

A snarl interrupted me from my thoughts, and I looked up to find the two brothers glaring at me with glowing red eyes.

"Are you challenging us?"
