Rory's eyelids twitched uncontrollably as she asked with deep worry, "That thundercloud looks so terrifying—will Xarion be alright?"
Was the Beast Godn't going to get angry enough to actually strike Xarion dead?
Wen watched the thick layers of clouds, gently taking Rory's wrist in case she lost her composure and rushed over to help block the lightning for Xarion. He offered a comforting reassurance: "Rory, don't worry. As terrifying as that lightning looks, it won't kill Xarion. At most, he'll suffer some superficial skin burns. When the time comes, a petal of Yuel's flower will patch him right up."
Hearing Wen say this, Rory finally relaxed slightly. As long as he wouldn't be struck dead, it was fine.
Still, turning back to think about it, Xarion truly lived up to being the man with the most guts in their household.
